Mahomes is the 'Larry Bird' of the NFL. By this I mean Mahomes makes everyone around him play better. Usually. His receivers dropped very catchable passes. But I suspect their coaches had them practice until late into the night so they could catch what was thrown to them. Football is a team game. Mahomes spreads the love around bettercthan anyone. Great play calling helps, but the QB still has to make the throw.
Patrick Mahomes Was Drafted into a PERFECT Situation With QB Guru as Head Coach and Winning Team Before Mahomes Got There...Mahomes is Good and Was Final Piece of Puzzle But Andy Reid is The Main Culprit to Chiefs Success
He is the greatest ever, because, no matter the circumstances, no moment is too big for him. He can't be intimidated, and he works harder than his peers. Allen is cursed with the "hero" complex, meaning he will always take too big of a chance in the most pressure packed conditions. Jackson deflates when the game is on the line, for much the same reason. Little Joe is NOT as athletic as Mahomes, and thinks that because the Chiefs take them too lightly, he can sneak victories when they play them. He has stupidly created enough animosity along with his other nitwit teammates to put a target on the Bengals for the Chiefs. Burrow cannot stand up to the rigors of the NFL season, and will never be a top flight QB, because of it.
Lamar is extremely gifted, but hasn't yet mastered the mental side of the game. The Raven's like to play with a lead and intimidate their opponents with physicality. But when another team, like the Chiefs, comes along and starts punching them in the mouth--Lamar and the Ravens start displaying some bad body language.
@@kjhgfdsd76654 Exactly. Bully techniques do not work against people who cannot be bullied, and maintain their cool. Andy's great talent is keeping people like that on the field.
Mahomes is the greatest player to ever play the game of football. That’s just a fact. He has the greatest chance to win more super bowls than brady, it’s just all up to if the front office is willing to pay up for more talent around him.
The Bears made it to the playoffs with Mitch Trubisky so saying they would've ruined Mahomes is a huge stretch. I think you need to go back and watch him at Texas Tech throwing to UDFAs. An Andrew Lucks career was his floor
MAHOMES is already on pace, baring injury, to break the majority of Brady's records (except rings) by his 17th season starting... He has already started breaking playoff records... Considering that Brady went 10 years from ring 3 to ring 4, Mahomes has a real good chance of catching him in rings also... At his current level in his career Mahomes is the GOAT... No other QB has accomplished anywhere close to as many accolades as Mahomes in the first 7 years of their career (and only 6 starting)... It is going to be exciting to see how it all plays out, but i can see Mahomes passing Brady before he is done as long as he stays healthy... Just My Humble Opinion based on stats and facts...
In my opinion, Kelce is the GOAT tight-end, but I understand why people would disagree. Let's compromise and say he is the greatest receiving tight-end of all time. He broke a record set my Jerry Rice come on now
I didn't really understand how team friendly Mahomes contract was. Burrow getting 55 million a year seems crazy. Mahomes won't have a hit that high until 2026 I think at 58 million. Smart move for someone that is chasing accomplishment instead of money. This is the real reason Chris Jones is going to retire in KC and nowhere else.
@@ScrubbyBubby143 I think everyone has different values for sure. To be fair, Mahomes wasn't raised in the ghetto, nor was the family living check to check. I'm sure his ideas about it would be different if he had been. What it really should tell everyone is that he is going to make a three peat his main focus until it's impossible to get. Breaking records and setting the bar as high as possible are the only thing he has to motivate him.
Respect, man! I'm a chiefs fan from europe. I can tell you one thing: Joe Burrow and the Bengals are the ONLY team that we really consider as a legit contender. No one could beat Mahomes in the playoffs other than Burrow, so until its proven otherwise, he is the only one that can stop 15. (and of course Brady, but he's retired... Hopefully :D ) I wish Burrow will be healthy this year, and we'll have a fair duel between these guys.
Burrow is obviously a contender, but Allen is too. Allen's gone as close to toe to toe with Mahomes as anyone. He's come out on the wrong side of it, but A. there's no shame in that, and B. so has everyone. Allen elevates his game in the playoffs in a way we've only seen a couple QBs in history manage. Easy future gold jacket to me, and he'd have a ring or two if he wasn't playing against the best QB ever.
@@Skeames1214 For sure Allen is a great one too. He's just unlucky. Just like Mahomes against Brady in 2018. However, until he beats Mahomes or Burrow in the playoffs, he remains a bit "beneath" them in my eyes. No offence. He needs to prove that he's not just a regular season QB. That is a neccessary QB skill aswell. But he has everything to do it so I think its just a matter of time.
@@rrobinho88 I'm with ya, he needs to get over the hump and make a super bowl run, but for now I'm not really factoring in one game vs. Burrow, especially since his stats are indisputably much better than Burrow's in the playoffs (and eye test backs that up imo). I think it's, at worst, a draw between those two rn. If he's never able to get it done, I'll change my opinion, but right now I feel like he's the better QB between the two, even though both are excellent. Hoping Caleb's arrival in the NFC gives that conference a shot in the arm, it's truly insane how imbalanced the QB talent is right now.

Why does this one acronym seem to confuse so many people? GOAT is Greatest of All Time, so why on Earth are people jumping to conclusions and handing out the title to players who aren't even likely half way through their careers? If someone is trying to make the argument that what Mahomes has achieved so far in his career already makes him the greatest than they are saying winning 3 super bowls is more impressive than winning 7. Afterall were talking careers, now is there a chance Mahomes some day will take the crown? Sure but even for a player as good as him the odds are not stacked in his favor. I mean think about it he will need to win basically a superbowl every 3 years on average to be in Brady's territory. That may seem feasible to some considering he has 3 at the age of 28 but in truth he is at that age where it's going to get harder and harder each year that goes bye. If you really want to get into it even his 3 so far are less impressive than brady's first 3 as Mahomes has had an overwhelming advantage offensively to what Brady had. Not only has he had much better weapons around him to throw to but he also has had the advantage the modern NFL offers him with their consistent attempts over the years to make playing defense harder and harder. 7 RINGS! That really is all need be said. The crazy thing is despite actually being the opposite people try and take credit away from Brady claiming he was so good because of Bill Belichick and giving some to the coach while simultaneously claiming the opposite with Mahomes and Andy Reid. It's crazy because they actually have it backwards. How did each coach fare during those seasons where these QB's didnt play? Belichick has a losing record in his coaching career with any other QB under Center while Reid has a good winning record without Mahomes. That alone should show if a coach is to be given more credit than a QB it would have to be Mahomes and Ried. Think of this for a second the teams with the most super bowl wins in NFL history are the Steelers & Patriots each having 6, 49ers & cowboys are next with 5. Yet Tom Brady has 7! That's more on his own than any team has had total in their history (not to mention for obvious reasons you can't even count New England in that). Come back to us in a decade and we will see where it stands but as of now Mahomes has a long, long, very long way to go before having a chance to take the crown. People do the same shit in baseball where there have actually been people trying to claim Ohtani is already a hall of famer and already the GOAT lol. Why wouldn't that make logical sense? After all he has 225 career homeruns, Ho hum just a good 537 back of the all time leader. lol That's a full clear, cut and dry first ballot hall of famers total difference.
How many superbowls has Brady won legitimately? We'll never know. He deserves an asterix by his name. Year by year, he's easily beating Brady so far. I think Montana is the real goat so far.

Not only looking for the next him, but looking for players that can rival him. I'm sorry, but Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, whoever you want to throw up there, they're simply not at his level.
He's not a standard. He's the outlier. His style was not supposed to work in the NFL. That gives credit to Veach...

Every head must bow, every tongue must confess. Mahomes is the greatest of all time.

Cool video bro!

Pretty good comparison, only an elite few posses that kind of ability
Nicely done
He is accurate and has a fast release. That's what any decent quarterback needs.
Patrick Mahomes Was Drafted into a PERFECT Situation With QB Guru as Head Coach and Winning Team Before Mahomes Got There...Mahomes is Good and Was Final Piece of Puzzle But Andy Reid is The Main Culprit to Chiefs Success
Love watching Mahomes play! 3PEAT

Gotta be the only bengals fan and possibly nfl fan to ever give Mahomes his flowers without tryna chop him down at his knees
Now with his new wide receiver corp , watch out for the 2024 season ! The NFL will once again see Mahomes’ passing greatness
Low subscription amount but very professional looking video surprised!
But completely mind blown that you’re a Bengals fans making it 😂
Very appreciative 🙏🏼
And yes it took a lot to be as unbiased as I was in the video 😂
Easy answer! That dad bod! He rocks it.
As a Chiefs fan in Ohio… respect to you for repping your team but Kermit is inevitable!!
You did list Pats memory
He is the baby goat in my mind
Mahomes is the greatest player to ever play the game of football. That’s just a fact. He has the greatest chance to win more super bowls than brady, it’s just all up to if the front office is willing to pay up for more talent around him.
He slept at a Holiday Inn Express.
If he went to the bears 🐻 they would have ruined any chance of even being an average qb.
Thank goodness for Andy, Brett and co.
Wonder what's gonna happen with Caleb, they at least gave him some decent weapons
@@TripleDS coaching and culture are more important than weapons.
The Bears made it to the playoffs with Mitch Trubisky so saying they would've ruined Mahomes is a huge stretch. I think you need to go back and watch him at Texas Tech throwing to UDFAs. An Andrew Lucks career was his floor
@@midwestninja2237Maybe a ring with the bears at most but wouldn’t be goat status.
MAHOMES IS HIM! GREATNESS……
2 more championships in 5 years
In my opinion, Kelce is the GOAT tight-end, but I understand why people would disagree. Let's compromise and say he is the greatest receiving tight-end of all time. He broke a record set my Jerry Rice come on now
You have clear vision.
LOL at Montana in the conversation. His team won 4 SB's but Joe wasn't all that athletic.
I don’t understand, are you saying Tom Brady was? Lol
Love ya vid, ya honesty to.keep it up. ONECHIEFSNATION❤
Man plays to win he sacrifices money for rings people like Burrow don’t really care it seems
Exactly
@@Skeames1214QB play in this era is AWFUL. There’s only like 5 good QBs at best.
@@bigchungus1848 you’re trippin, 2011ish was peak bc all the best qbs were in their absolute primes, but this is easily the 2nd best era. Please go look up a list of starting QBs in 2002.

The main reason Mahomes is good is the same reason Lamar is bad-- Smarts.
In 10 minutes not once did you mention any of the skills he possesses that make him so good on the field.
He has a cannon for an arm, he can make a defender miss thus giving him extra time to find the open man, his ability to read defenses gets better every year. I could go on and on
I didn’t add much to my video about how good he himself is on the field because this info is a given even if you only watch highlights, I wanted to look beyond the obvious to see if there’s more to it than meets the eye 👁️
that makes the video about an hour
