I just got mine today. One thing that I love about the Neutron 2 that was not mentioned is its blade length, which at 3" is legal everywhere.
The TRM Neutron 1 (OGtron) is one of my favorite knives.
I like the changes they made, much better. Good rundown on all that.

Still waiting for the TRM Molecule to come out one of these days. 4” blade, maybe .011 blade thickness.... I’d be a happy man.
Not in the plans- 3.5" will probably be our max. Maybe .100" one day on some model.

I've been a member of the Ticoons-group on Facebook for a short while now and it's indeed a great community, just like this knife which I so much want and I'm sure will get in due time... Also: couldn't help noticing that the aftermarket scales on your Neutron 1 allow for left-hand carry! Some leftie-love yessss!
We have drilled holes in both liners, so we will consider making a run of some of the scale options with holes drilled in the front scales.

Great video brother, I really love mine. One thing I’ve noticed is you can choke up more on the handle then you could on the old one which is also really nice. Keep up the good work!
G11 is more heat resistant or something like that lol. Its really almost the exact same thing.

I'm really excited about these. I'm hoping to get a Neutron2 in January to go with my Atom. TRM is a great US company!
Great knife but TRMs nutty drop policy having “customers” refresh for hours on end is frustrating and a massive waste of time. EDIT: I see that TRM is now doing both drops as well as setting aside Atoms for a waiting list. I think this is great and shows they are really listening to customers (and hope they do it for all their knives).
Don’t you think they’d charge more if that was true????
@@BobDyl They did that at the beginning. Everyone got mad about that also. And the drop format is what most companies do nowadays. The fact is that they'll never make people happy until they have five times the capacity. And then someone will probably complain because they make too many and are devaluing the brand.

9:00 i used 275 paracord and made a lanyard on my atom. Not sure if it would work w the neutron because its smaller but 🤔

For anyone wondering, G11 is better under higher temps, not gonna make any difference on a knife as far as I can tell but still It is G1 more better.

@@00YahSun I use the Chef at work. It's under than 3.5" no issue. Currently my favorite knife.
@@00YahSun that sucks man. Have you checked out the spyderco Brouwer. The only bad thing is the price. Only like $20ish cheaper than the spydiechef but like 1/3 of the knife. Lol. If I ever have to go into a big city and need a smaller blade that’s my go to. I just really like spyderco framelocks.

Deep pocket carry clip fits on both models. It protrudes a bit more on the Neutron Classic.

Not sure why anyone would say they’re harder. They do drops of hundreds of knives every month. Sometimes multiple times a month. The Pena’s are one and done for each pattern pretty much.
No free spinning pivot either.
Is there any reason to have a non captive pivot now days? Seems dated to me

But to be honest, having the clip on the "right carry" side and carrying it in your left pocket is absolutely no big deal. I mostly take my knives out to fidget with anyway, a tiny little bit more fidgeting to turn it in my hand is really a process that goes unnoticed in the grand scheme of things.

@@BobDyl Website will have a specific range by tomorrow- definitely after 6 pm. Hilary comes into the office special to post the Atoms, so I leave that range decision to her. FB group gets the most detail because members seem to be interested in behind the scenes information. We do not announce any specific times to the group. IG only wants pictures. We have a newsletter, but to keep emails to a minimum, we are using FAQ question 1 so we can update as needed. Rather than monopolizing Bryan's feed, you can always email me directly mh@threeriversmfg.com. For now, I am receiving all website questions too, so I can have an understanding of any customer concerns.
