What products they offer, how you can invest in GInvest, and why it's personally not for me. Agree to all what you said Miss Charm! I'll keep on Investing on gcash since i'm a Moderataley Conservative Investor and i really don't need to pull out my investments once nakita ko bumababa siya because for me Investments are for long term. Thank you for this hope all Filipinos do their research talaga muna bago sila pumasok sa ganito.
The thing with investment is that, there will always be risks. As what experts say:
1. Know everything first.
2. Risk apetite is different for each individual and each type of investment. One must have courage.
3. The longer time you stay, the bigger gains you'll have, so patience is the key.
Agree to all points especially the reminder to know your own investing style, time horizon, and risk tolerance. If I can add, I think one other con is the fact that it's accessible via phone. If you lose your phone and other people were able to guess your GCash MPIN (unlikely, but still possible), then you also risk losing all of your investments. I personally haven't tried withdrawing my GInvest funds (I'm also down lol), but it's important to point out that the ease of access is a double-edged sword.

Actually what dragged your investment was the Consumer Trend feeder fund. I had these too :( During the time of your purchase, the main stocks of the fund had clothing retail brands; those products were severely affected during the pandemic as a result of the boom in online retailers which left retail giants with more cost (due to less physical shopping) and less sales (saturated market, less demand).
On the flip side, the tech feeder fund did give me higher returns (~10%) in 6 months.
Point being that there are some high risk, high reward options in GInvest, specifically the ATRAM funds. I totally agree that this platform is not for everyone.

GInvest actually works for me. I take advantage whenever the trend is down and purchase more during those times so when it bounces back up I'll get higher returns. :)

I alread widraw my investment pero ang interest na kinukuha ng gcash malaki masyado.. the value of my 3k i invested naging 3300.88 but when i received the amount naging exact 3000, nawala ang 330.88.
Inshort kung anung itinubo ng nvestment mu kukunin ni gcash, and they immediately delete the message sa value ng investment ko

I started ginvest last year and yes negative din ang returns ko. Pero I find it very convenient and itutuloy ko parin since medium term investment ko naman sya. Diversification din ang main reason ko. We can do different investments naman at the same time. Thank you sa inputs mo Charm. As always very straightforward and honest mo 😊😊
I appreciate your approach to teaching.. To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough, we just need to hold onto our hopes and wait to see how things turn out because market movements are almost always unpredictable. In my portfolio, I'm noticing more red than green.
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyper-inflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.
@@Wellingtonluzia3 You are right! I diversified my 450K portfolio across various market with the aid of an investment coach, I have been able to generate a little bit above 1.3m in net profit across high dividend yield stocks, ETF and bonds during this red season.

I agree. To be honest, I transferred my money from GInvest into GoTrade to Invest in ETFs like VOO
True, tried this almost 2 years na, lugi pa. Might move this after 1-2 yrs to COL atleast u call the profit/loss. Yun din prob sa ginvest, hirap itrack ng actual gains - need po icompute magkano input mo vs current credit. And lastly if magwidraw ka, there's a like 3-5 business delay(so price varies?) ata + fees( not really sure). Not really recommending to new investors

Are there not "Agressive" funds in Ginvest like the Phil. Equity Index Fund, Global Consumer Feeder/Technolgy funds?
randomly, i was finding a good feedback video here in yt about ginvest and this is very helpful to me as a new started investor in ginvest. thank you very much charm, this is very helpful to me.
Pros: convenient, easy account opening, can invest as low as 50p, simple platform.
Cons: Limited investment products, expensive management fee/ high expense ratio

I'm currently using Ginvest and it works for me since I only sell high while buy low which requires a lot of patience considering everything in the process takes a lot of time.

A little comment lng and I hope I don't come out as rude. Regarding your audio/voice, since you have a nice mic nmn, I think it'll be better if you lessen/modulate your voice or volume(?) a little. Baka ako lng but I always find it too loud like almost shouting or too in-your-face when you talk which is a bit irritating to hear that I always have to lower my volume. Goodluck with the fee of 1% to 1.5% in a scale you are losing money you can do it on your own copy the fund inside their fund thats without the 1% fee

How much did you invest?
For the risk taker/agressive investors, I agree that Ginvest isnt for them. Its only for boring long term investors who have lots of money and just want a safer way to put their money to work. There are so many alternative opportunities like Crypto staking and Defi which gives you so much more upside.
If you are young and have a small fund, try crypto opportunities first so you wont get bored waiting for your money to take years before it grows.

That's the reason why I pulled out my investments in GInvest, 1 year na yung ROI ko barya palang kumpara sa investments ko sa Crypto at GoTrade.

@@saistres9788 you need to study first kahit basic lang. Like buying thru crypto exchanges, setting-up wallets, and AVOID people offering you to invest crypto to them and asking for your money (possibly SCAM). Madami din scam sa crypto kaya be very careful po.
