Hey Gennady! Thanks a lot for this explanation of how to pass this exam! I passed it a couple of days ago in the training center and the procedure was the same as Vlada described below. I would recommend solving as many testing examples as possible because questions on the exam are business cases. I used several sources for preparation and met around 10-15 questions on the exam. In general, I would say questions were straightforward but you need to have a big picture of the products Google provides to choose the appropriate answer. So, be prepared and good luck!
Hey Gennady! Thank you for your video and GCP Preparation Terms. It helped a lot! I passed GCP offline. It was like that: I had email with all important information about exam. It contained the following: My personal info, exam name, date, time, place, Test Taker Authorization Code, and what I have to bring to the exam. You will need to print this email because you will need to present your Test Taker Authorization Code along with your identification in order to take your exam. You must arrive at your selected Kryterion Testing Network (KTN) location at least 15 minutes before your scheduled exam time in order to complete test center check-in procedures. And you need to bring one piece of primary identification and one piece of secondary identification. More details about it will be in the email. So, I went to the center, showed my documents, left my stuff to the observer and started my exam in the special room with computers. I only can recommend you to read additional info before exam because some topics were not discussed during coursera course. For instance you can use services.google.com/fh/files/misc/cdl_study_guide_november_2021.pdf
My congratulation! And thanks for detailed info about passing exam offline and additional resources that you used. Pinned your comment so everyone can check it.
Hello Gennady, i have a question regarding the secure browser. Everytime i try to open it an error pops and says that it was opened without a custom URL, will that be provided the exam day? Thank you for your time and patience 😄
I also had an error, but on exam day it opened correctly (maybe it will be popup to open link in secure browser). So for now just try to open it once to initialize and it will be enough.
Hey! I have question about Total cost of ownership. In many resources they have questions about types of subscriptions and their cost. But in Coursera course it is not explain. Are these questions asked on a real exam?
Hey, for me there was no such questions as I remember, but it still could be asked since in process of digital transformation of some business you should aware of costs to compare it with competitors and on premises solutions.
Hey, you need a paid subscription, but in my case I used free period and watched all videos for free. There are also ability to download all videos and presentations and re-watch when you will learn cloud terms even without active subscription
Thanks for such hard work! Its a great video guide and content for the exam. Thanks again.
Glad that you enjoyed!
