I completely forgot about it! It was a B side in Europe only if I'm not mistaken, so that's probably why none of us know it...sumbitch. I had the demo back in like 2010-11 too, and I've heard this version a few times. I just forget it exists, thanks Jake!
Just watched the alternative press interview and somehow barely found out about this song and it’s simply amazing 🖤 I’m in awe of its greatness. Thank you jake
Probably my favorite work from them. Listening to this in my headphone made me feel like I was floating or something, really powerful/ amazing guitar work for some reason
Far Out is the first song out of bulbs trilogy so probably the bonus track on juggernaut will be the oxisius instrumental and on the album after that oxmodius bonus track ;)
I would consider this their best song AND THERE ISN'T EVEN SINGING but then again I mainly listen to the instruments anyways but seriously just fucking fantastic.
Yeah much like the majority of the comments here, I too have never heard this til right now and I’m pissed. I thought I’d heard like every last thing they’ve done. I’ve certainly tried my best to
I'm surprised I'm saying this but the original Bulb version sounds better than this version. The rhythm guitar had a lot more presence in the original and it sort of spoils it for me that its not as easy to hear over the lead.
Tristan Quezada Diaz You could easily say that about many post rock bands (just saying, though I love me some post-rock as well.) These guys pretty much invented this sound. The question is, would you still say the same thing if everyone else hadn't copied them or been influenced by them? Basically, if nobody else had copied the sound, would you have enjoyed this song?
Actually, you're right. lots of post rock bands sound kind of the same. Fortunately, i`ve been able to search and find several worth hearing original bands as well
Tristan Quezada Diaz The good thing is the genre is easy to listen to as just background music. I know there's some bands that have mostly the generic sound but amidst their albums there's like 2 or 3 tracks that are just masterpieces amongst the rest of their tracks..
+Tristan Quezada Diaz My advise to you would be, stop complaining and listen to post rock. I realize that you are just voicing your opinion but It really isn't fair to trash a band just because YOU don't like it. Music is different for everyone. Some people like country, some don't. There is nothing wrong with that. (Just using country as an example)
Came here after the Periphery history video. On alternative press.
Same dude
same bro
Somehow it was recommended to me after watching that...
Hahaha
Vulkanzed me to.
thx Jake for sending me here after your recent Alternative Press interview with Mark!
So I'm not the only one who's here because of Jake
So I'm not the only one who's here because of Jake
Lol glad I am not the only one who did not know about this 😂
Josua Stangl same here!
I completely forgot about it! It was a B side in Europe only if I'm not mistaken, so that's probably why none of us know it...sumbitch. I had the demo back in like 2010-11 too, and I've heard this version a few times. I just forget it exists, thanks Jake!
I had no idea this existed
+ke7mix same here
They are my favorite band and I just fucking found out today. Some fan I am huh?
me 2 😅
me neither wtf
@@nmularoni1 same
For a P2 song, it definitely sounds very much like something off of P1
Just watched the alternative press interview and somehow barely found out about this song and it’s simply amazing 🖤 I’m in awe of its greatness. Thank you jake
WTF how did I buy this album and listen to it a million times without ever knowing there was a bonus track?
P5: Far Out Bro
Still have a lot of those old soundclick songs on a hard drive someplace. Love it when those riffs reappear!
Adrian C. I would love to have a listen!
And here I was thinking I'd heard everything these guys had ever put out!
??? why am i just discovering this now??? this is P1 riffing with P2 production.... god damn
Had to come Jake himself to tell me that there was a B-sides to P2...
The three dots keeps reminding me of Splinter Cell.
I was thinking Predator :P
Now I can’t unsee it
The lyrics are compelling . . .
Been loving this band since 2010 and I just discovered this lmao
Long live Periphery
Hail Stan
Probably my favorite work from them. Listening to this in my headphone made me feel like I was floating or something, really powerful/ amazing guitar work for some reason
Did not know that this song existed until Jake livestreamed and talked about it. Jake's great. 🤟
How have I never heard this? This is my favorite fuckin band
I know right? so much stuff from the 2010s is just obscure now
Wtf why didn't I know about this song? This kinda pisses me off
I literally just found it about 2 seconds ago, i had to go to Dark Lyrics and find it...
I now can rightly be more pissed off
same...fuckin a
Yea, fckn hidden limited tracks lmao
LOVE this.
DOOD! I BOUGHT THIS ALBUM AND THIS SONG WASNT ON THERE! THANKFUL TO HEAR IT NOW! AWESOME! yes caps were necessary
love the bands creative range
Wish they did this jazzy Holdsworthy stuff more often. Sounds great in metal.
Wish Bulb did the Holdsworth inspired stuff more often!
Far Out is the first song out of bulbs trilogy so probably the bonus track on juggernaut will be the oxisius instrumental and on the album after that oxmodius bonus track ;)
Part of the reason why I like it is the structure.. less of the same Periphery formula.
This is just Oxmodius done differently. Does anyone know Misha mansoor's Oxmodius song. It's amazing.
these are all the views??? This is Totala mad
Can't believe how few views this has! UGH, not fair. More people should hear this.
Limited edition version of album
Sounds like a P1.5 song. Could’ve been on the Icarus EP.
you guys are beast!! :D
Recommend really out here
Right lol
Oh, it's this song.
came from AP interview
Oxmodius happens to be my favorite Bulb song and one of my favorites by Periphery in general. Someday I am going to convince them to play it live.
Come here after finding out the discovery of our further planet found is named 'Farout'. Awesome.
Fuck!
This is one of most Awesome fucking song of Periphery!
How have I never heard this before?! 😳
Japanese bonus tracks ftw.
Yesssss, same with Soilwork!
Far out man
so many people don't know about this track... sad...
why the fuck isn't this on the normal album?
it would have completed it...
too bad the drums are programmed wish they had the epic sound like the rest of PII
they are not
pretty sure they are listen how different they sound from the rest of p2
+Cody House Many of the drum sounds heard on P2 are samples. You're looking more towards the Juggernaut releases for more "natural" drum tones.
+Cody House pretty sure I saw a video of these drum tracks being laid down
only on the main tracks, far out if programmed, listen to the difference of this to the other p2 songs
*whacks self in the groin.
I knew I should have gotten the digipak.
*shakes tiny fist
look at that! respect on youtube! not often you see that ;)
It's from a deluxe version of periphery 2 I believe
This is a culture
This exists??
Made me buy the limited edition instantly.
Raise awareness.
I would consider this their best song AND THERE ISN'T EVEN SINGING but then again I mainly listen to the instruments anyways but seriously just fucking fantastic.
This song has actually existed since like 04 . It was on Misha's solo project page on sound click(bulb)
The melody sounds Final Fantasy asf
Yeah much like the majority of the comments here, I too have never heard this til right now and I’m pissed. I thought I’d heard like every last thing they’ve done. I’ve certainly tried my best to
Periphery II (Limited Digipack)
2:25
This could totally be in a great Shonen anime AMV! :D
Charlie Cairns Weeb trash
Why the hell am I only just learning about this now? ._. I had no idea they'd re-done this. Insta downloading.
where did this come from? PII extra?
?!?!?!?! i only just found this
WHERE DID YOU GET THIS
what is this from?
why the hell doesn't itunes have the bonus songs?!?!?!
I need this song's drum track please help me
find travis orbins cover, look at his description
I think they only released this in Europe
I'm surprised I'm saying this but the original Bulb version sounds better than this version. The rhythm guitar had a lot more presence in the original and it sort of spoils it for me that its not as easy to hear over the lead.
So this is the genesis of djent
The djenesis
Hey now, we're all djentlemen here. But yes, this track touches me djently in all the right and wrong ways 😏
wtf i want this lol
Oh crap, I misunderstood your first comment, nvm I see the difference now :D
Yo who's all here from the live stream
👋🏻
OK
Jake brought me here.
Better than all the tracks with vocals
ugh I wish the drums didn't sound so plastic
another djent band that sounds exactly like the other one. Prefer post rock thanks
Tristan Quezada Diaz You could easily say that about many post rock bands (just saying, though I love me some post-rock as well.)

+Tristan Quezada Diaz I prefer post vegetarian country core
