Not only you are an artist you’re also an awesome teacher, it’s so amazing that you are such a good friend that you’d share with her (and us) your talents … this will only bring you bigger and better things ☺️
Dear Chris, would you consider a video of a Chevron blending that you mentioned, with Desirée? You are so Talented and excelent at blending And the pauses to explain when Desirée is with you make such a difference in a begginers confidence. Loving watching your videos, from Portugal 🌸
I am sorry Chris.i meant the normal blending, wich i do not now the name.i searched for Chevron and its looks very complex. You explain só well Alone, but with Desirée you make US feel even more understood. I Will watch your other blending videos again. You Rock🌸
Crys'Dawna, I don't know how you stay so neat and tidy inside your house!?! Not even a drop cloth! That's impressive. I splatter paint and misted water everywhere. 😊
D is doing an amazing job of learning all the things! Love the white wax over these colors. Thanks for being an awesome creative, teacher and person Crys'Dawna! 💖💖💖
This video was really helpful n explaining the exact amount of pressure required for best blending . It always looks too simple when you do it and say just use a light hand. Thank you very much. Your videos are really appreciated. Please keep up the good work.
Just want you to know CrysDawna that I recently found you and now I binge watch your shows. Thanks so much for sharing your work and skills with all of us. I’m knew at redoing furniture but now stepping out of my comfort zone. You are a great teacher.
Same here! OMGOSH, I work from home and just let the videos play allllll day. I have learned more from Crys'Dawna in 3 months than the 10 years I've been doing this!
You are THE blending teacher, Crys’Dawna! I have watched MANY others, your videos help me the most! 👍🏻💜💙 And a big welcome back to the USA to Desiree! 🇺🇸
Awesome job Desiree! Crys'Dawna again you are a great teacher. It is so pretty! I miss trash days on the base, and moving days too. Lots of treasures to be DIY'd.
Hello Crys'Dawna, what an amazing idea to have a student right there and to film it for the rest of us. Brilliant. I really super appreciate it. I saved this video to return to it over and over again as blending is something I struggle with, unless it's stippling. Ha, ha.
I like it all.. I recently did a little desk for my daughter and my blending did not go as well as this but it was my first try…I think it’s very sweet that you would feed her while she’s locked in your basement #truefriendship
An idea for a video! I live at the beach and folks will not buy anything that's not white or nautical. Maybe do a nautical piece or a way to blend whites with other colors. Help! BTW I was stationed in Germany too. Loved it
love the green colors. Gold just adds that something something. It's a great compliment. Love your friendship. Good friends very hard to find. Good luck to you Desiree!
Awesome blending, Desiree!! That’ll sell quick! I’ve found your technique and how you teach/explain the process, so helpful when it comes to blending. But watching you work with Desiree (one-on-one) was even better! So thank you!💚
Hi ladies! Beautiful results as always😉 I have an idea for a 10 min Tuesday spot, explain the reason for using specific sand paper grits in order when starting on a project. I have wasted hours by using 220 and higher when trying to strip a piece. Thanks!
Great job Desiree! That's what happens when you have an awesome teacher. We're ready to try blending (again). Don't ask about our first attempt🤣🤣. Now we have a much better idea on how it's supposed to be done! Thanks Crys'Dawna for this great video!😀😀
Yayyyyyyyy!! I’ve been trying to work on my blending and sometimes it works and sometimes it’s frustrating…😩. Now Des can come to Albuquerque and show me how to do it right!!! Can’t wait!! 👏🏼👏🏼
Hello Crys’Dawna. Great job Desiree. You have the best teacher any one could ask for. This is one of the things I would like to master is blending. Need to practice more often. Thank you for this video Crys’Dawna, it was helpful.👍🥰💐
Fantastic job, Desiree! Safe travels to you! Crys'Dawna, you totally knocked it out of the park doing a Beginner POV video. Great idea. Thanks so much.
Desiree you did an awesome job!! You’re becoming a pro! I def think they’ll sell before you move. Safe travels & cheers to new adventures. Crys’Dawna I wish I could come hang out & paint with you.. you’re an amazing teacher. Love the colors too 💖
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, I’ve watched blending videos but they were so fast it was hard to grasp the technique, this has helped immensely!!
Thank you! This video was very helpful for me. I learned I've been using too much of everything! Too much paint, too much water, and way too much pressure. So thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!! Good luck in New Mexico Desiree, it has been a pleasure getting to know you. 😊
Love these 2 nightstands. Even though they're not exactly the same, they definitely match. Great job Desiree on the blending job. Love those legs too. Thanks for a great blending video !!!
Great job, Desiree! This was a great idea, taking a newbie and and expert and blending them together! Looks like you had a lot of fun doing this, thanks!
Great job Desiree! This video was so informative for beginners (me!) it gave me confidence to try my first blending on furniture. Teaching Desiree really showed me a lot of your technique, I would have been the one bending the brush bristles way too hard! Lol. Thanks CrysDawna.
Great Job! I did a similar blend with greens, it didn't turn out as good as yours but I used colors that were not as close. First try.... You live and learn. Thanks for this informational video!
Love this video so much thanx🙏🏼 you're very very good at teaching, i got all details about blending and understand where i made false, please keep teaching and share like these videos😇💜
Hi Crys'Dawna, and Disarray! (hope I spelt your name right). I just wanted to ask, are ya'll having winter in Europe??? I love your hats! I'm still dying of the heat here in SW Florida. We still in the low 90's, ugh. So Crys'Dawna if you every want to go on vacation to Florida with your family, when you get back to the States, we'll put you up and you can teach me some new things with my furniture makeovers. Have a get day! Dee Green Port Charlotte
Question I have should one go pretty slow with the blending strokes. As I notice with student, she brushes pretty fast. Or is the fast strokes the way to go?
Do you blend the sides or only the front? I struggle with what to do with the sides. Loved this video. It really explained the pressure needed. Desiree, you did a beautiful job. You are great on camera, BTW. Crys'Dawna, that flop at the end to get out of the camera, made me crack up😅
You are very talented and I could learn a lot. watching you , as I have in past. but please no goodies jackets, and snuggle caps inside,( your friend) It' s distracting. Honestly I do like you you are a very good teacher, and I will continue watching.
Not only you are an artist you’re also an awesome teacher, it’s so amazing that you are such a good friend that you’d share with her (and us) your talents … this will only bring you bigger and better things ☺️
