Where did you do that cliff jumping at 9:30? I take my scouts to a water hole on Little River Canyon. We hike in, about 25 min or less, depending on the size of the group. Swim and jump there for a couple of hours. Easy hike for parents and siblings. No one ever wants to leave. We do it every summer on our way to summer camp. Since I kayak the river frequently, I have made several trails of my own. Most of them well marked and I have maps for them. Came across a family on the trail that had gotten my maps from a fellow scout volunteer. They were going down to the swimming hole, so we took them along.

DeeperImage Automotive definitely. Let me ask you which way did you take? because it looks like you were heading to I-20 but I thought it was near Rome and 75N would seem faster

@@illustriouslaz I usually take 278 near Dallas/Hiram to 27 near Cedartown/Rockmart, hop on the W-Rome Bypass until it dead ends on Alabama HWY and just follow that towards Alabama until I run into Little River Canyon Reserve and turn right at that sign, if you keep going about a mile the falls welcome center is on the left.

Yes, this is a fantastic trail and most Jeeps, even stock, will have no issues. Crossing the river is fairly easy unless it has rained the day before. On the upper part of the trail there is a big mud hole that I would avoid unless you are with another Jeep/off-road vehicle that could pull you out, or you have a winch. Other than that it is pretty easy and very nice with a few spots to swim and jump. I normally start here 34.38857851128488, -85.61384741416633 (put those cords into Google Maps) and turn on the first left where the hunters welcome cabin is. Download GAIA if you haven't already and it will have a nice map of the trails around there. You can then head to the falls visitor center to get some nice views, it also has a nice walking trail. Enjoy!
