High Flying Linemen

It's one of the toughest, most dangerous jobs in the utility industry. Live-line helicopter crews fix and maintain transmission lines and towers from upwards of 150 feet off the ground.

crushiedoodle not as many as you’d think. I was a lineman’s apprentice, and I can recall one or two who had military experience, out of the couple hundred I met.
