It does because it's hazzard pay.. Some jobs are like that. Worth it yes scary as you know what at the same time.
They probably get base wage on top of hazard pay 💰

The company is called Aeropower. They're a charter/industry helicopter company with bases all around Australia
It's some power lines I know of
