Coach, thanks for always improving the coaching community with resources like this and being open to questions on Twitter. Appreciate it here from SoCal
Any advice on acquiring coaching knowledge without experience playing the game? I’ve been trying to watch as many YT videos as I can but it feels like no matter how much content I find there’s still so much that I’m missing.
I would start small & build. Pick a team and a side of the ball. Start watching how they set the front, coverage contours, & then how they fit the run. Draw some stuff up so you can "see" it on paper. Once you have a general understanding you will start seeing similarities in other places. Don't try to watch everything at once.
@@MatchQuarters I appreciate the reply! I was attempting to put together YT playlists based on run concepts, pass concepts, run fits, coverages, etc. to break it down that way but I just felt like I was missing something.
