- Girl Power is always top of mind for Ginger Spice! Geri Halliwell got candid with Access Hollywood about why she was protective over friend and fellow Spice Girl Victoria Beckham when the fashion mogul first started dating David Beckham. "What do I remember…do you know what? I think I was very much about girl code so I was like, you know, it was all about the girls first. So, for me it was dreams before dates and so I'd be like quite protective, you know, suspicious and protective of my girlfriends," she explained. While promoting her new book, "Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen," Geri reflected on why she holds all of her bandmates close to her heart. "They're like sisters, doesn't really matter who it is but you know David is like a brother and I care for him and her greatly," she added. "She's a really good person." She also shared if the Spice Girls would ever consider a reunion. "I love being with the girls…at some point I am sure we will do something," she said, while clarifying she is not sure when it could happen if it does. Geri also looked back at some of her most iconic fashion moments and got a surprise from a spicy friend. "Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen" is out now.

Just met her last week at her book signing in NY. She is SO nice! Really lovely and friendly. Took time with each fan and spoke with them❤
The Spice Girls empowered a lot of young people. They got big my last year of college and I remember a lot of woman liking they were young adults that were not as overtly sexualized as the teen pop sensations in the US at the time. When the industry in the US was literally dangling jailbate the Spice Girls were in many ways more relatable. They sang about having fun and feeling empowered. They left their mark. No doubt about it.
Heartbreaking not one interviewer asked about her solo singing career. Or to ask if she'd release the theme song she created for the book to streaming.
To be fair her life is so rich with interesting things it’s probably hard to pick where to start.
I read somewhere that most of the songs by the Spice Girls were written by Geri herself. It’s no brainer that she became an author.
That's not true, though. The songs were written by all of them.
All the girls came up with lyrics and melodies, they all wrote and finally put together their lyrics. Mel B wrote Wannabe by herself thou, Mel B was a genius

@@Aretha-bq4tt they're all really strong and talented girls. Vulnerable each in her own way, but real, resilient, survivimg and hard-working. Im proud to have played Posh Spice in our classroom when we imitated them in the 4th grade😄.
It's written in wikipedia that Geri wrote most of their songs. Their writing partners said that.😊 Her solo album sounds more like a Spice Girls album than their Forever album.😊

Agreed. I love her but this posh accent turns me off 😢 She’s clearly worked on it and trained herself to talk like that which is a shame because her natural accent was beautiful and sounded more authentic too…
