your close to my metrics Justin , ive got like 1200 items , when I know I can't list for a while , cause im heaps busy spending my eBay money on living life to the fullest , this month Ive had my daughters wedding , heaps of family coming over to Aussie so been partying instead of listing . But im still at home so I just ran a 20% sale , and sales never dropped at all , they actually went up because I sent all my followers and customers for the last year a coupon . I just get up at 6am and do shipping so easy to maintain sales . and I find older listings get moved more .so when im back into it I have money to invest on better items . Love your work brother . So Coupon up when being slack bro .
I used to work at GameStop, and people would bring those controllers in all the time. The easy way for me to tell with the one you had, was the button in the middle was a plain circle, and there's supposed to be a Playstation logo on that circle. Hope that helps! :)
If I go long without listing, my sales plummet. It works out because I usually list when I'm hungry for sales, and I'm not listing when I'm busy doing things. It always works out.
When I buyer has an issue like those boots, I just refund. My peace is worth more than a few bucks. I am also a buyer, so I understand how disappointing it is for things to not work out.

Just an FYI what I do for my fragiles and things people might be looking to swap out I take a sharpie and put a couple of discrete dots somewhere and take a picture of their shipping label in the background
I was thinking of doing this! I sold a cap about 7 weeks ago. I got a message from the buyer asking to return it as it is not the cap pictured. I asked what the problem was and he said it was not the same manufacturer my listing stated. I looked at the listing and pointed out that the labile that is SEWN into the inside IS the manufacturer I stated. He said the cap he received had no sewn in label and suggested I sent him the wrong cap. I knew he was trying to scam me so I told him I was sorry he was not happy & that I did not have more than one cap so the one he got was the one listed. However, I would be happy to refund when I received the cap back. Never heard from them again!
I bought some riding boots from the Thrift - hardly worn. Took a few days and the soles have done the same thing. I will glue them back on but it definately does happen. I have about 5 pairs of new but older shoes that I'm worried to sell as I think they may do the same. I'm going to put in the listing that it could happen due to age even though they are as new condition.

Good luck finding items Justin maybe on the 7-8 years looking for items. Have the opposite effect where finding items left and right and in a harder market where thrift stores are horrible. (Texas). It can be done, change it up where you look.
Hi, just an FYI. It's a federal law that you can't put anything in someone's mailbox. Even if it is a flyer. That's why a lot of mail boxes have a separate container for the newspaper.

It is a crime to put anything in anyone's mailbox, with or without consent. Mailboxes are considered federal property and tampering with them in any way is a federal crime. It is also illegal to place items in your mailbox with the intent of someone other than the mail carrier to retrieve it.

When I sell an item that costs more than I’m comfortable losing I will always call the buyer and say something like, “ hello this is so-and-so from eBay. You purchased the so-and-so item from me. I just want to verify that it was actually you making the purchase and nobody hijacked your account as there is so much fraud on eBay these days.” In every instance (but one) the buyer has always been thankful I’m checking. This also allows me to engage in a little conversation and get a feel for who I’m dealing with. In the one instance things didn’t go well I cancelled the order and refunded.

Even the replacement tubing for a CPAP is a no-no. Some reseller I watch got pinched for that.
Actually tubing and filters are no longer Prescription needed. They actually sold on a sidekick at Walmart out in the open where anybody can buy them.

I would have asked the buyer to send me a photo of the label. Then I would have compared it to the photos I posted to see if they were the same boots. I can usually tell by picking up on some minor mark or defect in printing that doesn’t match or clearly matches. Then go from there.
All OEM game controllers will have their logo on it. For PlayStation 4 controllers there will be a PlayStation logo in between the joy sticks

Hi Justin... maybe its coz on on ebay UK, but I have regularly seen when I get busy on other projects and stop listing, my sales GO UP! Usually a mix of recently listed and very old listings. It always seems like ebay boosts the visiblity to get me listing more inventory...

Ebay often remove authentic items..most likely the brand might wanted to remove it..ebay is not clear with veros unfortunately
Please be careful with that vero. It’s insane that eBay will suspend a larger seller for the same number of violations as a small seller and doesn’t have a percentage of listings equation. It’s pretty clear when a vero is not Intentional vs a seller that intentionally sells knock offs. There should be some way eBay can put in place a way for sellers to engage in some form of due process handles by an agent with the authority to dismiss a violation. My greatest fear is being suspended for a few accidental violations when lusting thousands of items. Any suspension would cripple my cash flow and hurt my employees as we all make our living on eBay.

Just had to comment on this bc it was pretty funny….. in the same video you state you get annoyed when sellers put “rare” in a title when it’s not rare, yet you had “retired” for that Yankee Candle candle and had no idea if it was retired or not. 😂😂

So I've sold bunch of Mauri shoes which are Gator Shoes. I've had a few where the Soles came off. I refunded what it cost them to get them fixed. It was only 2 pairs out of 58
I would have asked them for pictures first to check the condition of them and make sure it's the same item. Then I would have refunded them the money. It costs me less to do that then to have them ship it back.

Just a heads up the reason you got a Vero claim on the ps4 controller is because the buyer or some random person said it was fake. Random person can report your items and unfortunately they do
I had a payout pause for a verify account request last week. This week i got my account restricted for mc011. More information verification. Also had a return for a key board and mouse that clearly said only key board and mouse in the box and the buyer said item was not as described because a wire was not in the box.
😂 I also do not like 'rare' and 'mint' annoys me too.

Video games are my niche and the only "red flag" that the PS4 controller gave me was that there was no Playstation logo on the home button. I could see that being a buyer report
For the broken boots thing; A refund + keep IMO was the right way to go... Helps mitigate the chance of a bad review. Just make a note of the username just incase they refund more stuff.
On Flipwise, are you able to log your inventory that is not listed on ebay yet?

When you sold that Yankee candle, did you ship it with an ice pack so it wouldn't melt? Any issues sending candles? I had previously sold a deadstock sealed candle but buyer was upset it arrived melted with wax all over inside the wrapping. I am in Miami
i didn't. i have had that issue in the past but this time of year it is typically OK.

When you have an item that took 6 months to sell -- did you end and relist it a couple of times during that 6 months?
typically yes but those shoes had not been relisted

Patagonia is one of my always pickup brand and haven’t had any issues. If suddenly there is an issue with Patagucci, I will just sell it all back to them for their used store.
