- Day 2
Today i go for a ride on the PS EMMYLOU (Paddle steamer).
Emmylou is now the only wood fired Paddle steamer in the world
This is the main reason for my trip up to Echuca, & today i take you all on a modern day Paddle steamer to experience a bit of the Murray River history.
It was all that i expected & more, to take a ride on the EMMYLOU.
It is the most recognisable Steamer on the river. - Развлечения
Nice tour, so beautiful place. Thanks my friend
Thank you for watching : )
@@BOBBER400 welcome you to Vietnam soon
I used to spend Christmas in torrumbarry with my family as kid during the late 70s & 80s so we used to see the boats every day. Great vid😁👍
That would have been a great time for you. Those river towns are excellent, thanks Steven : )
thanks!!! I posted a video of a paddle steamer. pleasant viewing.
I love how the flagpole is just a stick. lol. 16 horse engine to push that...wow. Seems like living on a houseboat around that area would be the way to go. :) That "3 point turn" was really cool. Crazy how things are so completely different on different sides of an invisible line. Cool vid, man !! You're getting in some good sightseeing !!
Every time we come out of lockdowns i've vowed to go somewhere far away, once we get out of this one i'm going gold detecting. Cheers m8 : )
The paddle steamers are amazing to be on love to get back over and ride them again enjoy
That was something i wanted to do for so long, a tick off the bucket list. Echuca is a beautiful place, even in winter. I hope you can get back there too : )
That was awesome mate, thanks for sharing! Echuca really does seem to be caught in time a little, which is a great thing!
It's a great little town that has thumbed it's nose at modern society, lots of heritage buildings : )
Heck yeah thats bloody wicked so cool cheers
Thank you m8 : )
Hello : )
Loved it L, its a beautiful place there and i heard it was built in Koondrook where my grandparents lived and we spent many a holiday up there 😁👍🏼
You would have had a ball up there, it's a nice part of the world. I wonder if your grandparents knew Roy Higgins (the jockey) was born there. Take care G : )
@@BOBBER400 Im sure they would of L, its a small town and everyone seemed to know everyone 😁
The boats look fairly well maintained
Yes the one i was on was very clean & looked spectacular, although it is the newest boat. Take care m8 : )
Wasnt sure bobber if i would enjoy watching this,But it was really nice,Great place for a Do that x
These vids are my getaways between lockdowns (Tasmania & Echuca), next time out of jail i'll be gold detecting 🤞 Cheers K H : )
@@BOBBER400 Have they given melbourne a date when your all allowed out on remand then?
@@karenhannible4951 no, apparently when we hit 70% vaccination rate we may be allowed 10klms radius from home address. Here in Melbourne, Victoria is worse than living in a communist country atm.
Sup Mr.Bobber
I'm still at work couple more hours
Free time now,eating a couple donuts 🍩🍩
Not the best day tho,had a fight with a customer,he bought a soda only to spill it all on the ground then threw some straws at the colleague
What can u do,u will encounter dickheads every now and then
Mmmm donuts 🍩🍩🍩 That sounds funny throwing straws at someone hahaha....
Hope your night gets better m8 : )
@@BOBBER400 won't be sleeping much tho, working till 1 today then tommorow I open at 10 😴
@@Paul20661 Your lucky over there as i'm still in lockdown here, this is our 6th lockdown & 230+ days altogether.
A couple of questions mate.. How long did it go for, what did it cost, did you get fed and was your coke laced with father Bob's special wake up juice?
It went for two hrs & it cost under $30.00, there are lunch & dinner cruises & yes Jim Beam. Well worth it i think : )
thanks!!! I posted a video of a paddle steamer. pleasant viewing.
