Oh Susanna ~ Clawhammer Banjo Cover

Hey Everyone! 🌸
Here is a cover of one of my favourite tunes- Oh Susanna on a 5-string banjo. I am playing clawhammer style.
"Oh! Susanna" is a minstrel song written by Stephen Foster first published in 1848. This tune has become a staple of American folk music.
I filmed this video on a wool farm where I often do work with fibre processing and spend time cuddling the animals.

Playing at this farm is one of my favourite things in the world! It’s so beautiful. Since I started doing work on it, I play every break I get. The animals seem to like banjo as well!

Funny, I used to work on a "mixed" farm that had sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas . . . and one little bugger of a billy goat who used to sneak around and try to get me with my back turned. I finally managed to catch him and toss him in one of the horse troughs.
