A lesson I am learning: the things, people, and places that helped through hard times are no less loved, and no less important as I move away from them being central to my life. There is now room for new experiences, and there is still space to love the time with what once was so near and dear to me. ❤ Anywho 🤪 I absolute loved that flower magazine image, itself just 👨🍳 *chefs kiss* No goals, just vibes. Trial and error, mismatched, super matched. I love watching everyone be creative in their own little curated notebooks. It's so special to hold the privilege of seeing other ppls souls on paper. I just wanna create with others, no matter how it turns out this year. This journal is so spring and fresh. Does that make sense? 😂 These pages feel like a fresh dewy garden morning. I hope that was what you were going for. Loved this hour with you as always, excited to see what you dive into in 2025! Thank you for sharing 💖
Aw thank you so much. You're absolutely right. Even if something isn't central to your life, it can still hold a special place in your heart. I so appreciate your comment. ❤️
And yes napkins are on the list …. Well not the original list but the “next one “ I think and I agree! I don’t reach for them enough! Thanks for playing along !
New Years Eve we just stayed home and watched movies. New Years day I was getting happy mail together to send out. It was alot of fun putting it all together. ❤ My creative goals this year is to use my craft stuff up before I buy anything new plus declutter my craft stuff what I dont want or wont use anymore. I only document the days we actually do something. I dont like documenting days that I dont do anything at all. Ive been using a composition notebook all year long for 2024. Great journal session as always!
That's a great goal that I am also really feeling. I know me. I'll still buy stuff, but I do want to destash a bunch of stuff that I got a long time ago that doesn't really align with what I use anymore. I really need a freshen up in my space. Thanks Deidra ❤️
Only a few crafty goals so far. Use my stash, include more "junk", follow some challenges and use coloured ink more. I'm liking my bigger TN so far and I'm trying a different style of journaling. Glad you had a nice gentle start to the new year
Happy New Year to you and James. I’m like you Lydia, I’m an introvert and enjoy my quiet times at home. I watched the Dick Clark Times Square show New Year’s Eve. New Year’s Day, I spent time working on journalling and did a bit of needed de-junking. I always have too much stuff. Love how Vol 1 is starting out. I am going to go journal now too ;-) Thank you
Happy new years ! Love the new journal concept .😊 I would like to try it sometime but am afraid that I will let the days pass and not capture things but I have considered trying a weekly format and expanding bigger days when I want … we will see 🤷♀️
I'm still aiming to journal about every day. But if I miss here or there that's fine. And if it's just a half page, that's fine. Just giving myself some flexibility this year. But I also don't want to start slacking and not get my days documented because gosh, I know how precious it is to have my life all written down. Thanks so much Allison 💖
I think you could call it whatever you like. I think of scrapbooking as big 12x12 albums in the plastic page protectors. Anything else I consider creative journaling. But I've just made that up. It's just how I feel. Thanks for watching!

Happy New Year from Oklahoma. it was just a normal day for us. Is just adding pictures considered a junk journal or
is it scrapbooking?
I think you could call it whatever you like. I think of scrapbooking as big 12x12 albums in the plastic page protectors. Anything else I consider creative journaling. But I've just made that up. It's just how I feel. Thanks for watching!
@@februaryandjune thanks, i have some smashbooks i can use as a junk journal.
I never reseaved the Patreon Happymail you send to me. Such a shame ❤
