At the 19-minute mark, I realized that F40 #402 has a weird-sounding horn. 😏🔊😬 It sounds Canadian/VIA Rail styled but in lower pitch and/or either another train which I don’t remember hearing from.
The IC3 Flexliner was heading to Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan to operate short haul intercity routes as an experiment in 1997. Amtrak rejected the Flexliner.
Why do you called it a P32BWH??? That's never a thing! It's obviously is called "Dash-8 32BWH" The only Amtrak P32 is on the Hudson line or in Metro North in New York and Connecticut

Most P40s were written off from the roster. 11 P40s remain in active service with the railroad.
Weren't they rebuilt into P402
