Okay...this is Cool. I had a Question about Police Uniforms and it was a struggle to find a spot for it.
So; the Star of David is not considered Appropriate for the Uniform, according to the Vancouver Police themselves.
Then neither is a Turban - Period.
The VPD are Hypocrites already in this Discussion and Personally; I don't want to see either Symbol on a Police Uniform (anywhere) in Canada...but that's not my Question.
My Question, is about that Crown and the VPD Uniform. Not just 'any' Crown but rather 'The' Crown which appears on most Police Uniforms in Canada. Why...is that Crown on any other Uniform but for the RCMP - where it makes some sense (even though having a "Royal" Police Force doesn't...really make much sense here in Canada)?
What exactly does this Crown signify? (and please don't tell me that the VPD are "Serving the King" - I'll Puke)

If I am Palestinian-Canadian and I just lost most of my family to the Israeli invasion and I need police help and the officer who comes to help me is wearing an Israeli symbol on his uniform, how do you think that's going to make me feel?
