Just retur ed to axtually playong and not just leveling in an expansion sincre mop and its crazy the changes that have been made to healers. Thank you for the video. I definitely have a better understanding of what to start aiming for.

is light of dawn not a thing anymore? when should it be used? also how do you know what blessings to use on yourself or a team mate? i know blessing of winter on yourself for the mana regen but the others? just cast on yourself the whole time?
Hey Rocky! So light of dawn is not used in a dungeon environment these days, just raid. It is quite weak to begin with, but the need to aim it into your allies makes it quite difficult to get full value from considering you will be in melee a lot, meaning your ranged allies will likely not get any healing from it. Regarding blessings, I suggest you checking out my holy Paladin guide (link below) where I go over this :). Have you tried using Tyr's and HoD? I find it so much easier because it fills the gaps between the Toll/Daybreak combo, especially once you start doing 24+.
Hey man! I generally do not run that combo in m+ for mana reasons and I don’t feel like I need that extra hot. However, on bursting weeks, like this week, tyrs can be incredibly helpful to give you that extra time to top people off
I don't run it for the hot, but to instantly toping everyone's HP, because of Resplendent Light interaction with HoD and the extra healing from Tyr's @@ValiathGaming
Depending on the situation I’ll do either way. If I don’t have glimmers on everyone I’ll pop DT first for the large heal. At times I don’t need the daybreak for healing after that and then I can use it for DPS instead. If I do need it for healing, it’s pretty quick to get multiple stacks of reverb out with the rising sun stacks that I have then. Again, it depends on the situation.

Yes that is right, the total damage reduction it provides is 10% to a target if there is only 1 out, is there is two then it gets split between the two people that have, so 5% each, and is on and so forth. Thats why it’s not a bad idea to have only one out on the tank when he goes in for a large pull since their own active mitigation might take a couple of globals to get going.

I don't think you mean bop. I think you may mean Divine Protection. I would say that most of the time, you don't need to, but it doesn't hurt since the CD is so short. You want to save bop for the first boss jagged and the second boss thorns.
Hello! I like to play with Tyrs during bursting week to help out. Generally though, it pays off to be attentive to enemy health much more during bursting weeks. If you see large groups of enemies going down fast and at the same pace and DPS is ignoring it, which is highly likely, you are often shit out of luck to heal it. Bursting is a group affix, not a healer one and all DPS and tanks should be paying extra attention to enemy health bars. For us as paladins, anything above 8 stacks becomes an exercise of us praying people use defensives. Keeping divine toll and daybreak for bursting is common, which kind of sucks tbh as I would rather send them for damage. Bursting weeks are rough for us as we don’t really have much to counter the dot like druids can with their myriad of hots. We have to hard heal every player and pick and choose who gets dispelled, and often, who is left to die from it. It sucks plain and simple.
@@ValiathGaming The only thing i felt like i could was hold the Toll combo and switch over to beacon of virtue. Felt impossible most times in pugs tho. Thank you for responding.
@@nthnthms1212it gets even worse at low to mid keys when stuff dies so fast. Screws with us healers royally. It gets a bit better when you get to higher keys and enemies are alive a bit longer so it’s easier to stagger the deaths.

You can use BOP on jagged nettles, that will save you at least 1 round of healing :)

I did a 23 WC last night and I was pulling almost 200k hps in the courtyard. It was not fun

@@ValiathGaming nothing crazy but bursting was disregarded as well as interrupts. Sometimes PUGs are cancer.

How do you properly use Hand of Sac ? Sac the tank and then bop yourself for incoming damage. ?
