ok to all those thinking of doing this , you need to understand changing radio will cause blue and me module to stop working , which means stearing controls wont work. it will also drain battery. you need to discn module reprogramme it to ignore then it wont drain battery. its at side of rear passenger seat.in car.you cannot just didcnn module.

@@THESPICYMEATBALL93 you need to ring round dealers until you find one that understands problem. im in ireland my daughter practically ran every dealer until she finally found one that totally knew the problem . if your in uk there is one on internet.

Great video. However my existing wiring has a usb at the bottom on the car, do I still need to install a separate usb?
Just fitted one and I noticed after watching this video that he’s taken box behind the radio out (the one the radio actually sliced into out) as it doesn’t fit and now just sits in there loosely 😮
Je l’ai acheté et installé. Tout marchait bien mais depuis hier le jumelage Bluetooth ne fonctionne pas comme si le CarPlay ne s’activait pas en connexion et le wifi également. Avez vous une idée ??? J’ai tout débranché et rebranché mais rien y fait
I received my order and tried fitting it in my 2010 Fiat 500. Everything worked fine to begin with, but now there is no power to the car radio unit when I turn the car engine on. Do you know why this may be? Have checked fuses and they all appear okay.

@@Mindmasteryedge actually I did; there are two pairs of black connectors in this mess of wires which can connect to each other (but shouldn’t be able to) switching out those two solved it for me!
@@naudschreuders2106 I don’t know why, but it doesn’t seem to work for me? Like the radio turned on once and now it doesn’t anymore. I’ve tried to connect the other cables, but still no luck. Any tips?
What were all the plugs for that were plugged into nothing???? They just got tucked in behind but werent connected to anything??

your blue and me needs discnnt and programmed to be by passed , this will drain battery. module is behind passenger seat in side of car.

Wow!! After readying @reallywontsufferfools1620 remark, I will NOT be removing/ replacing the original radio on my Fiat 500c 2012. I also want to keep it all original but if not for the nightmare issues this person mentioned, I would have liked an upgrade. Oh well .

Be careful buying this radio. The radio doesn;t talk to the CANBUS and your odometer will flash. Then it will drain your battery.

Is it possible you forgot to connect the CANbus box? That's what you need for the steering wheel to work, it should've came with it.
I have canbus box but no option for fiat 500
Steering wheel buttons will work immediately, as you didn’t buy from us we think there may be an issue with your Can Bus box

Check power supply, wiring positive and negative probability positive is in position 3 you must remove from there and put it to position 1 in front of earth…

Hello, does this autoradio work for a FIAT 500 2007 ? And does the air conditioner still work correctly since the screen is in front of it ?
This should fit your 2007 fiat with no issues, and the air condition should still work fine, as there are vents that will let the air through :)

Installing the GPS wire isn’t necessary as you would be using CarPlay. The radio is kept in place by the metal bits on the side of the radio.

After installing the LCD screen, my mileage meter started flickering. I read online it had something to do with Blue&Me, which obviously doesn’t work anymore after installing the LCD screen. How do I stop the meter from flickering? Anyone experienced this?

Yes, it comes with allthe harnesses needed, I just bought the same in black from Amazon last week, already installed it, it's literally just plug and play.
Also in this video they're suggesting to remove the air vents and everything....Completely misleading, nothing needs to be removed, the air vents perfectly hide behind this one.
All you have to do is remove the old stereo, plug the cables provided and that's it...Everything will work even the steering wheel controls.
Very simple I was done within half hour.
Edit; Actually I just realized, I got the newer version of it which has only buttons on both side, like this one has on the right side. The newer version also has an micro sd slot on the bottom right, and more recent Android 12

The radio is kept in place by metal brackets. Remains tight unless you get t out using special keys

When you remove the metal plate behind the radio as it don’t push all the way in, it actually doesn’t lock into anything, just sits in place loosely 😅looks great tho
Is there a way to close and adjust the vents or are they always open and blowing air in one direction?
OK so you don't need to remove your original top air vents. One you remove the bottom radio you can install it and it just fits over the original vents. The little 500 badge you see above the screen flips up and you can close the vents from there.

I bought the radio from you. In my car, the speaker connector is a weird yellow/orange connector tinier unit and the big silver adapter doesn’t fit into it. What do I need to purchase to get it to fit?
The Apple CarPlay works great and overall it’s perfect, just wondering if you know about any other adapters to fix it so it plays music through the speakers

The radio unit is held in place by metal clips to both sides. It won`t come out unless special keys are used.
Once you plug in iphone to usb is it supposed to charge the phone as well?
Yes, charges your phone and activates Apple CarPlay

Where is the GPS antenna placed?
You do not need to connect the gps antenna if you're fine with using Google maps, it has the built in Google maps, and you can download the offline maps and you'll be all set

It most likely means that the unit itself is malfunctioning, not your fault. Ask for a replacement.
