I recently bought a SD. There are so only so many runners molded in a few colors so if you care enough painting would be preferred. I like my SDs though. It was fun build and its goofy but I love it. xD
Just made this. I love the proportion, definitely better than the tv series color. Still, the color separation is a big let down. Overall, this kit is not a let down. Great proportion and articulation. Bandai should be more considerate with the corner cuts.
The proportion and articulation seems fine and improves compared to previous version. But some colour separation like the red jewel on the V-fins, and the torso should have been done like in previous SD.
Ex standard definitely have a "small scale" look to them rather than the chibi kind of cute look the normal SDs go for, since they have more detail molded in and none of those dumb eyes haha
it was stickers like this that initially turned me away from Gunpla. I can confirm that stickers like this are very unusual for SD kits. as one example on a traditional SD kit the red jewel on the V fin would have been a separate part as well as the red on the waist.
+Skuffle SD kits are for lack of a better term non-scale because they're super deformed. so there technically isn't such thing as a 1/60th scale SD kit since there is no actual scale to measure them by. but a large SD kit would be interesting and in a larger size they could have more parts and less stickers.
oh ok because I don't like channels that cuss and my father happened to be right there next to me and he went what did he say because I tell a lot of good things about you to him

Looks pretty good, definitely a good way to sharpen those painting skills!
HD parts on the HG Revive takes derpiness (yes, it's a word now lol) to the whole new level.
i just noticed, all parts (except the feet of course) are like the ones on sd build fighters
When/If you do the SD Ex-Standard Exia please show it holding the GN-Sword in the left hand too :)
I just ordered a SD Banshee, SD RX 78 - 2, SD Wing Gundam and a Zaku head to build a Gunpla clock. the only con on this i think is the lack of knees.
The bayonet is actually a cool option, but I think I'll leave its v-fin on and not do the other weapon formation either.

+Fpsdood lots of SD kits come with normal eyes rather than the cute anime eyes, on most you get the option between the two.
Is painting needed?
It's colour separation is pretty incredible considering that it's an SD
It does seem to have a smaller head than other SD's at least to me. Might be because of the other SDs having a lot of armor.
Are you able to swap heads with this kit and a HG RX-78-2?

very cute SD
I was wondering if the SD Ex Standard is worth it to buy it?
which is better sd line or the ex standard? sd line is a bit more expensive right??
+Mark Mejia Right, but most would argue that the quality is worth the price.
I see. Watched all your EX-Standard videos. I think i should try having one. Thanks for the replies. :)
They should add beam saber red sticker
Am I crazy to want this the size of a 1/60?

there is a PG 1/60 RX 78-2
+Skuffle It exists but its pretty expensive.
why is the port of your action base white
+Primescape 16 The peg broke and I replaced it with a piece of white runner.

Lol, I said it, yes. As an expression, not an expletive.
oh ok because I don't like channels that cuss and my father happened to be right there next to me and he went what did he say because I tell a lot of good things about you to him
