- Here's the SD Ex-Standard 00 Gundam! Nice kit with the same overall pros and cons as the other SD Ex-Standard kits. Kinda wish it had the 0 Raiser, but for the 600 yen price tag you can't expect too much!

Here in Phillippines, when i bought the SD Ex-Standard 00 Gundam, the pollycaps dont fall out, even if the head is too loose, i get the trouble in wrapping the shoulder stickers, but i guess its better than painting it.
Its also my first ever Gundam, so im quiet happy with it.
I finished building it about an hour ago and i really hate the stickers on this kit but i really like the stickers for the head i didn't like the sticker on the v-fin though,
First time painter here, I plan to paint the entire Gundam with tamiya enamel paint with a gloss top coatng finish. Since this time is small, should I prime it first or just go ahead and start painting? Thanks.

I really don't have much experience with BB Senshi kit, so it would really come down to your preference. Just look at some on dalong.net and decide which looks better to you!

For effort giving kit I say ex standard is better
For a well seperated colors bb senshi is also better
BUT IAM INTO EX STANDARD KITS THEY HAVE A NICE ARTICULATION AND BB SENSHI HAS A FIXED JOINTS

I've built this kit myself, and I could say that some stickers like the head stickers look pretty nice.
However some stickers like those on the GN drive make it look messy.
There are a lot of areas on the back pack and the arms which require painting so the true joy I got out of this kit is actually the painting I must admit

hey nice review again... maybe the regular SD 0 raiser kit will fit here as i've noticed from its peg hole on GN drives and the backpack... they are similar at first look... i haven't bought this yet (not yet available here) so i can't test it...
the raiser will ffit, but the ones that connext to the gn drives, theu dont fit
Is Barbatos the next SD kit? Kinda excited about that one :))

I love this gundam
I guess it comes down to priorities. I would still be happier to have this than the older 00 SD with its total lack of elbows, and this one's proportions being more to my liking.

I've started out with some SD and SDCS kits to start getting into Gundam. Your reviews have been great. Seeing the kits and knowing all their pros and cons. I'm not really worried about the hollow legs and other parts since they are just for shelf display
is that can use o raiser?
You wanna use the O Raiser from the regular SD kit? Might need some modification, but I'm sure you could make it work.

The pancake GN Sword IIs and pancake weapons in general from this line makes me sad.
if I was to get an SD 00 Gundam I'd just go with the original. of which there are three different versions available and they include clear colored parts.

I doubt it. it doesn't seem like Bandai is going to do multiple versions of the same kit simply because of how they're designed.
