- Seviyan or vermicelli kheer, is a traditional popular dessert. Seviyan is a delicious and an easy recipe to make.
Seviyan kheer is prepared with Seviyan (vermicelli), milk and sugar, first seviyan are roasted which gives it a nice aroma and taste then it is boiled in milk and sugar nuts, cardamom are add to it.
This is real culinary skill. Not everyone can do it! A traditional Punjabi recipe 👏
Amazing work…. thinning out the dough seemed to be a task! Final dish appeared delicious and the kiddos liked it….I’m sold!

Making extra food for others is not at all difficult 🤦♂ you eat 2 rotis right, tell your mom to make 4 and then give some vegetable with those 2 extra roti to someone homeless outside your home. It's not a difficult task at all. It's just stupid mindset which people have which stops them from sharing

She is Sikh . They were 5 ks. Kesh(hair). Kaccha ( underwear) , kirpan ( dagger), kanga comb to clean hair. And kada this bangle . This was from 1699. This was all to create an army in defence of Indians against Muslim invaders

My grandmother used to make this traditional kheer but she also used to add desi ghee to it.. Maa Jee used to dry roast these vermicelli first whereas my grandmother did not roast it. After making needles on the matka, she rests it for two to three hours and then puts it to boiling milk. And in our family this delicious pudding named as Kaachi. My mother also used to make it.
