I totally sympathize with you in regards to worrying about what Amouage has done to their fragrances. I have about a dozen from Amouage, but there are still a few I'd like to add to my collection and I have to literally sample a new tester in person to make sure I can like the current formulation. Last year, the creative director of Amouage told me there might be IFRA changes made, and he was hoping it wouldn't affect any Amouage fragrances. I'm still worried, though.
@@regismonkton Oh Amouage. I really treasure my older bottles. And I would not be surprised at some reformulations ... that is unfortunately so inevitable these days😭 I feel like Amouage is pushing out so many releases they all blend together! I get less interested frankly, though I still love the house.
I own so many fragrances. I’m a collector for years. My all time favorite fragrance over everything is the original coty wild musk. It has changed drastically over the years. I got several vintage bottles on eBay, but the smell is just off over the years. I was very surprised to see that you had this on your list. You and I have very similar taste in perfume. I’ve told you this already, I have gotten many perfumes because of you. I’ve never been disappointed.
@@pinki3dt I'm relieved to hear that I've not steered you wrong that is a lot of pressure! And I have a soft spot for Wild Musk. The bottle I have is 10 years old and still has oakmoss so not reformulated to death yet.
Hi Wendi, great to see you again! Lovely choices, I’m so envious of your Gucci#3. My mum used to wear it and I looked at it but don’t really want to may $300 for vintage. Anyway, don’t worry about your background noise, I never noticed it. Interesting comment about Jubilation 25. I do have a decant but haven’t worn it that much. I’m spring and getting warm - love the weather but perfume-wise, I wear anything. I wore SJP covet, lovely, maja, femme rochas, aqua di gio, rogue by Rihanna, Ormonde Jayne Woman - I’m all over the place, lucky I work from home 🤣 I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi Anah, What a list, I love your choices. I take it you are in the southern hemisphere? I am in awe of people who can wear whatever whenever as some things just don't act right or smell right in certain conditions, and then there are some things that are repulsive in other climes mostly the heat!
Great video. I'm in London, UK, and the weather's been very mixed this summer 🌦. I mainly work from home so mix and match, but I've already started to wear Babycat and Coromandel that I recently purchased. I just couldn't wait😂😂. You've sold me on Jubilation 25
Hi Kathy. Coromandel is another fall lovely. You are lucky that you work from home and can pretty much wear heavy hitters whenever you like! I have never smelled BabyCat but I've heard so much about it. And try Jubilation if you can it's a unique one and acquired taste.
Your collection is so diverse and beautiful! So lovely to see another video, Wendi 😊. I am not ready for fall fragrances at all 😂, but am looking forward to eventually being able to wear my L’Interdit Rouge, too as well as my La Vie est Belle Iris Absolu. Kinda want to add a couple of Serge Lutens fragrances (secondhand) to my collection.
Thank you Mamoni. Are you more of a warm weather blooded person? And I am a bit interested in the Iris La Vie est Belle but I'm scared off by its sweet reputation. What SL's do you have that you like? I lament that I didn't buy them all when they were easy to find on the grey market for $40 - 60 a pop. Who would have known what would happen to perfume prices and distribution???
Filthy Dirty category, HAHAHA! Jubilation 25 is among my most favorite perfumes! Of all the perfume youtubers I watch, you have the most similar taste to myself. I can't think of many who wear chypres either; my favorite style, but then since it's not a style made anymore the way they used to be, with some exceptions in niche, I can understand why. I am not ready for fall whatsoever. Here in the Seattle area it started raining last week and after several days of rain, today it was sunny but the temperatures are never going to go back to the 80s and 90s but rains have come early this year for sure. I have been trying to wear all my summer perfumes this year but some I just never got around to wearing, mostly the citrus ones. I have too many of those for the small number of days I feel like wearing them. I always feel they don't last nearly long enough to waste a day on. I'm doing the big beachy and tropical yellow florals at the moment and loving them. oxJulia
Oh another Jubilation 25 lover! It's just so good. Drown in the filth! I should do a list of filthy dirty perfumes lol. I adore chypres and while I am sad for their demise I am glad I was on the train enough to stock up while I could. They are never coming back as a perfume style. I figure that the short wearing perfumes like some citruses I just reapply with abandon. That said I love those rich beachy white and yellow florals too. Have a wonderful day in Seattle Julia:)
Going to be 100° here in Nebraska today and I’m not happy about it! I loved your lineup in this video Wendi. Portrayal from Amouage was love at first smell for me and I purchased a large bottle. It’s the decant of Interlude that’s taking me forever and a day to work through. Btw only a couple of times I heard your dog panting in older videos and it really wasn’t even a distraction. 😊
100 degrees wat that is crazy. I hate this! I want it to get cool now! It's 96 today and tomorrow in MIchigan and that is bad enough. And thank you for letting me know that the dog wasn't too much of a distraction.
Hi there Christie:) Gosh I love it too! It's sweet but the woods and smoke and rose really temper it down. And frankly it's easy to wear while still be interesting.
Hey Wendi! Have just started watching the video but wanted to be the first to say “hi.” I hate summer bring on fall! Where I live in So Cal we have some of our hottest weather in September. No me gusta.
I'm ready for fall. SE Virginia summers go on too long. (miss Michigan weather ). This evenings' fragrance is Cafe-Cafe. Gets me in the mood for spicy scents, but light enough for an 80 deg. day. (90's this week - ugh) I recently acquired a 6 ml. Guerlain Tobacco Honey... YUM. It may not last this fall. And as much as I try to like vanilla... dang. It does nothing for me. I also recently acquired a 50 ml of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid and it's a nice floral, but the dry down is just too gourmand vanilla for me. (warm weather didn't help). Bring on the cool weather.
@@robinscott1951 I know it's 96 here tomorrow which is unacceptable! I think though that Tobacco Honey is such a perfect perfume for fall it'll be so nice to wear when it finally cools down😊😊😊
Sooyun I am glad to hear that because I rewatched a few and it was so cringe! Yikes! I have one dog, a Bernese Mountain Dog named Rusty. Once in a blue moon he'll get in the background.
I just discovered your channel today, and I appreciate the videos I've watched so far. I'm a fragrance collector. I find your channel to be helpful because, starting in my third year of collecting, I started to add certain fragrances marketed towards women, even though I'm just a male heterosexual, and I appreciate your taste and recommendations. For example, I'm now interested in Agent Provocateur L'Agent, but I'll have to try to find that one on e-bay, I guess. Is L'Agent similar to Amouage "Memoir Woman"? I like "Memoir Woman", and I'm trying to find other ones similar to it. Have you tried Prada "Marienbad"? I bought it earlier this year, and I like it. I haven't tried Serge Lutens Cuir Mauresque, but I've heard it might be similar to Prada "Marienbad". Recently, I added Hermes "Bel Ami Vetiver" to my collection, and I like it. This autumn, I look forward to wearing: Guerlain "Bois Mysterieux" and "Heritage EDT", Hermes "Bel Ami Vetiver", Amouage "Imitation Woman", Prada "Amber Pour Homme Intense", and a lot more.

@@wendisparadeofperfumes5034 oohhh I loved sinking into Memoir’s dark embrace. I never bought a full bottle because it is so at odds with my lifestyle that it would cause cognitive dissonance!
It's a weird thought when I watch your videos It transports me while wearing Prada Infusion d iris, into an awkward breakup situation , where you had one to many awkward breakup and you start acting strange like numb and funny while running the whole process of breaking up with someone in a cafeteria where people starts looking already but you don't really care because you just wanna finish the entire process of a breakup throwing lines like, "how dare you" any break up lines from you to share???

Clearly you are an opinionated woman and have no care to what people say about you having a lot of say and being so big in perfume. I'm just blabbering, I'm a bit drunk from Gin wearing Kelly Caleche from hermes... feeling sophisticated than anyone else who stands on my way... you are fantastic... minus the still buying of perfume and just letting them go bad along the years... I feel sad for them .. I really do ... p.s. how dare you...
