When I first watched your videos I was just starting my mycological journey. Now I've got a grow lab and studying all sorts of gourmet and medicinal mushrooms! Good to see you guys uploading again. Keep inspiring people like you have inspired me!
that's where i am and i've become obsessed. i cooked up lion's mane and king trumpet and was so blown away i realize i have to grown them. after watching many videos mike has inspired me the most. i already had150 pounds of organic wheat berries and corn in my pantry but i'm learning i need an autoclave, etc. where do you buy your supplies?
Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety and illicit pill addiction. Imagine carrying heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not in a couple years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.
I'll be honest, I started testing the basics of mushroom growing recently, but I mostly watch the videos because of the southing voice and the interesting factoids
This channel is the most informative I've seen so far about mushrooms and yet those other channels who has almost zero knowledge about the subject and only made videos for clickbait has more views than this. Such a shame. I hope this channel will grow more.
Oh snap!! Southwest is back! 🤠 Well that just made my 2023! Thank you for everything I have learned from this channel. HANDS DOWN THE MOST INFORMATIVE CHANNEL OF IT'S GENRE! Not to mention you are one of the easiest people to listen too. Appreciate y'all! Awaiting the next video! 🌲🤘🍄🤘🌲
Keep uploading. Love your content. You started my journey on mushroom cultivation and starting a business. Been growing and selling for a year now all thanks to you!
Seconded! Mushroom cultivation is such an underrepresented field. And the passion that Mike brings to the table is as mesmerizing as their batches of freshly grown mushrooms.
Where you live? Defeats the whole purpose of the internet. The knowledge is right on the video! Study and start. Nobody needs to hold your hand and be your neighbor..
It's nice seeing you guys do what you do. I'm currently saving money and studying to grow and sales Reishi, Lion's Mane, Chaga, Shiitake, Turkey's tail and Cordyceps. I possibly might go into psychedelics, but that's not my main focus right now. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and being inspiring
Good to watch a video from you guy's it's been a while, Really interested in seeing how you grow Chastenut. Do you use a reconditioning room? & How come you don't have fog in your grow room but your mushrooms look amazing?
One thing I love about rashie is it smells like s*** growing that smells like s*** drying but once you have drive it and you're powder it down it smells like Coco
Excellent video. Thank you. Anyone know of a good oversight / table that lists species with it's favourite substrate (and alternatives), ideal conditions, temp, humidity and grow times? If it's in a book, would be happy to get it.
Awesome video! Here in southern Cali I come across mushrooms and wish I knew what they were called or if they’re edible. But I’d rather not take my chances on the latter. Recently I saw a cool mushroom. Yellow cap with a faint orange center on top, a yellow stem and the cap was almost a perfect umbrella shape. Maybe poisonous, I just let it be. Nature is incredible.
I love you're videos, you give such informative advice and I am going to start growing mushrooms to sell at farmers markets here in Central Iowa, since I don't have anyone near us growing mushrooms. What would be the best mushroom to start out with in my colder climate? Thank you for putting out some new videos. God Bless
Massive sunny shout-out Mushroom Master Mike! 😎🌞 Big Homie, yung SW psy-hobbyist society, we still out here for sure. 🛸 [atmospheric steam sterilizer aspirations . . ? . .😮💨] 'Nuff respect & blessins from local team, as well as from myself and on behalf of fam up N 🍄☔ Wah gwarm 😎
Do you know if any strains of mushroom will grow on avocado chips or sawdust? I have a commercial avocado grove that produces tons of chips from pruning and stumping.
Do make an analysis in a lab and get the data out of it. You’ll know if you have the specs needed or you maybe just need to add something over like when you use the straws and add the calcium
I'm hoping to start growing my own shrooms to barter with at farmer's markets. However I REALLY don't want to use plastics if I can help it. I'm trying to be as eco as can be, without growing them in the ground (but I might do that). Any advice? Oh, I'm also unemployed so I can't afford much. I'm not trying to get fancy, at the most I'll probably have a grow tent. I don't want a big production, just enough shroom to get me by. I live on a farm, so I'm not unlearned in the ways of agriculture (and i've done my research), but I could use some advice if anyone has a minute.
Does cooking mushrooms, such as lion's mane, destroy or alter the chemicals that are beneficial for certain health applications or physiological functions?

There’s plenty of information regarding Mycology and cultivation on the internet. Why would someone of his expertise give his services for free? He’s in a league of his own. His videos are actually very informative, so maybe your ability to pay attention is at fault?

Hello. For the golden enoki, how do you take the spore print? It is so tiny.
An answer would be very helpful. Do I have to spray water or maintaining humidity 85% would be enough?

Different species prefer different media, but most gourmets love wood-based substrates. Do your research
Can you send me a link to where I can get a blow motor and a heavy duty filter 2 x 2 for a laminar flow hood.
Where have you been?
Comb or coral tooth really does have a better flavor than lions mane, in my opinion 😜

You can grow from jars or mono tubs if you don't want to use the filtered unicorn bags
Re use the bags
Mason jars
Does cooking mushrooms, such as lion's mane, destroy or alter the chemicals that are beneficial for certain health applications or physiological functions?
I am told cooking them increases the bioavailability of all its compounds.
@@macrosensethank you for the response. I hear that the compounds are fat soluble, so it can be beneficial to take with fats for better absorption.
