There was a short time in stampede when they had 4 of the legitimately strongest men in wrestling on their small roster. Magee,Kazmair, Arcidi and Steve Disalvo, unfortunately only Disalvo had charisma and some decent wrestling abilities.
Tom Magee had a couple of other semi-decent matches in WWF. He had some bad ones too though; including a singles Dark Match Vs. Arn Anderson (a rare singles match for Arn while part of The Brain Busters). If Arn Anderson can't get a good match out of you, there's definitely something wrong! lol Magee also had a fairly decent series against Tim Horner in WWF, and I believe Terry Gibbs also (another guy who could make anyone look incredible). Magee's worst matches were in Japan, where the language barrier was an issue for him. The Japanese fans did not take him seriously and the audible laughing spelled that out. lol
Magee was more set up for American Gladiators show
Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart introduced me to Tom Magee at Rocky’s Lounge in Scranton the night before a WWF event at the CYC.
Rockys Lounge? Where was that near the U?
@@jlover911 Directly across the street from the former train station, now the Raddison.
Bret was tag champ with Jim at the time
Thanks rock!!
yet Tom Magee is still famous in wrestling.
