The aesthetics of this guy’s home game are top notch. The red suede table, the CPC custom chips, the Faded Spade cards, the glass dealer button…dream setup!

Maybe but I disagree about the reasons given, faded spade < Kems , big double sided dealer button with the rubber wrapped around the outsides for the drunks who may toss it around without care better than glass, and idc how good it looks, red felts a problem, not great contrast for important chips for main games spread (red black purple) it really only contrasts 1 chip, green, neutral felt colors are better or color with lower value (not as rich ie: lighter red). Sorry to burst your fuckin bubble I’m sure the game is still run better than any home game around, that’s why they are able to get Mariano and play 10/25 and high end clientele
I like the chips though I would prefer better contrast as well. Maybe yellow birds.

I'm sure everyone, for sure myself would love an extended detailed video of your bankroll management, shot taking, overall grind, and how it was making a living at the low/mid stakes. So many people inspire to do that.
FYI this is my very first comment on your blog ... and I've been following you (along with the other leg' bloggers for YEARS) ... you are now my favourite Mariano!! A part of this is your natural flair and enthusiasm for editing, vid-reels, overlayed music, all of which has been there since the very beginning; but more recently, it's your frequency and transparency with the games you're mixing with and the fact you're really not afraid to play your hand-situations at the big stakes, including 40k+ bluffs. I literally find myself holding my breath in some of these spots you narrate. Cant wait for the next blogs, and wishing massive (or at least +EV) luck on the felts!
Hey dude! I just wanted to point out I LOVE how you are adjusting the total pot values AFTER OPPS CALL! So many poker streamers don’t do this and it really does benefit to show how pot odds change with each action. Great work!!!

The pocket 5's hand had me laughing so hard xD I was not ready to see that out of all the possibilities going through my head. A5 and A6 suited were my best guesses, but the hand made a lot of sense because your bets were small enough to keep 55 in with this runout.

@marianopoker I have a question and it’s ok if you don’t answer. My impression is you rose through the ranks and never took a steak. Last video I got in a debate with someone basically saying it is impossible to jump that fast in 3-4 years without having someone stake you. So, do you get staked in the big games? Doesn’t change my impression of your growth. Just curious.
