So Jeremy, in the intro you're saying that my friends are gonna like me more if I wear your gear and therefore is "cooler"? Unfortunate comment in my eyes. Luckily, my friends like me for who I am and how I am as a person, not based on what I wear.
This is the course design that should be emulated. There aren't 10 million OB flags, there aren't any elevated baskets. The difficulty is the distance and the landscape. Perfect.
John Houck is a firm believer of natural ob. Deep rough will give strokes, light rough is maybe saveable. It rewards great shots and punishes accordingly.
Yeah, this type of course separates the men from the boys. So tired of those long, wide open bomber courses. Can't wait for them to hit Illinois and the woods.
@@jcrow62 This is how our local course here in Maine is. Stay on the fairway or close to it and you're fine. The further off you go the worse it gets. We don't need OB flags.
Ive played 15+ John Houck courses... they are at the top of my favorites list. He does so many things right and puts his signature style on all of them. Placement golf, tight greens, and score separating holes are always a part of his designs.
@@jcrow62 Doug Jabba Williams is a course designer in Missouri and Mississippi he’s designed nothing but A1 courses by using the landscape as is and not allowing repetitiveness in the shot order. His eye for an 18 is of the greats.
Kudos to Jomez for taking the often critical remarks about release times in stride and making efforts to release coverage earlier. We're grateful for all the hard work you put in!
I can't wait until Mason holds every disc he owns while he putts.
Eventually he’ll just hold his actual bag lol
I notice Double G doing the same thing lol. Man picks up like 15 things after a putt, cracks me up every time.
I absolutely love how this season is going! You literally never know who is going to take the win! So exciting!
I love how simple Niklas' putting stroke is.
He puts very differently from close range compared to longer range. Smooth anyway!
@@myytti16 True. I guess I was referring to inside the circle. Looks like he can never miss with that simple motion.
It feels so odd not seeing Paul and Rick near the top of every leader board this year. People are really stepping up their game and I love it. Great job as usual, Jomez team.
JomezPro Jeremy and Paul do a very professional job commentarying (that is not a word is it) thank you guys. Cheers from🇨🇦
Commentating is the word! An excellent guess :)
I think you mean big jerm and Uli
I'm always amazed at the crazy high production quality you put out. I think someone who first sees disc golf and thinks it's stupid to throw frisbees around would see this quality and change their mind
Jomez I just want to say that I really like the current format my favorite so far! The cherry on top is getting to see the disc they are throwing on each shot, incredible!!
I love getting to see someone throw mint on the coverage hands down my favorite disc company
These intros are so good. Nice work Jomez!
I haven't gotten to the end yet but there's no way this guy Isaac is going to lose. This guy is unbelievably good! I've never seen anything like this except for Mcbeast at last year's Worlds! Or Simon against Burridge!
Thank you everyone at Jomez for all that you do.
Love seeing Jerma get to the finals again
Oh God he does look like jerma.
I love the level of production! Keep up the amazing work ❤
Yes!! Nice and early posting 😁👍🏼
That opening montage was fire!!
That’s why I come to Jomez. Their edits are top notch! 👌
Their commentary leaves something to be desired but probably the best they got in 2023
Thanks, guys, as always. Keep on keeping on.
Such an awesome introduction!
@BigJerm Well said - “Full Send Sunday”. Makes way more sense than ‘moving day’ when the tees and pins don’t move.
Y'all need to keep an eye on aiden scott. He's gonna be a force to be reckoned with
I love the introduction!!
Would love to have better audio of them welcoming/introducing the players at the beginning before they tee off, idk how possible or big of a deal that is. Love y'all's coverage and think y'all do an AMAZING job
Super awesome intro!!
Gooo Niklas "the helicopter" Anttila! I just love the form!
Bag checks during player profiles would be awesome
Anyone know what the yellow, orange, and blue markers on all the hole maps are? I can't make heads or tails of them.
Intros on point this season
Solid playing by some serious playuhs! Man, hardly recognized Uli clean shaven.
What are the colored dots on the course directory?
We are watching a changing of the Guard. The Greats will always be...but the new kids demand acknowledgement...keep them coming.
Isaac birdied #6 and it was called a par (45:52) so his score was 41 under.
What's the shot called with an overstable disc that flies straight? How do they do throw that?
"he's a gamer" killed me XD
The editing in the intro was 🔥🔥🔥
Nik has a perfect drive form every time. I will definitely pay attention to him now
Big Jerm, "(Conrad's) left leg is about 2 inches shorter....that's not entirely true." 😅🤣
BigBarri serving looks on the final day 😎
If you guys can somehow film in 1440p or 2160p... DGN will have nothing over post produced. I know it's a ton of memory and batteries... but youtube would love it. (I think)
Isaac Robinson's putting nickname should be the Robinson range. like an archery range and also he hits every put in his sight lol.
Issac's put look so good an smooth is because he doesn't kip or really use his legs at all just throwing up free throws
Antilla?
What an intro!
Ok, I've been seeing it in all the coverage and I just realized that the yellow, red, and blue dots refer to trees on the hole with the same color ring of tape around them. What do these colors mean? Are they measurements to the pin?
Measurements to the pin. I don't know what they are by color, and there doesn't seem to be a standard, but when it's used it appears to denote the distance that remains to the basket.
Watching this and my wife says “That guy (Big Jerm) sounds like John Krasinski.” And played a clip. Never noticed it before but he 1000% does.
Is that hat embroidered with Nate Sexton's face wearing a crown and when can I get it on Jomezpro?
I opened RUclips just in time for coverage! Lets goooooooo :D Thank you Jomez!
Graphic at 28:57 says birdie but it seems like a par.
it would be awesome if in these double fairway holes, like 6, that there is a split screen drone taking both routes. There are holes with 2 gaps and we don't often get to see that...obviously just a suggestion, not taking away from the top notch coverage in any way
Uli - "if you can throw 420' straight..." lol - if I could throw 420' in any direction I'd be stoked.
"Full-send Sunday, Paul."
On hole 6, Robinson was marked for a birdie, but it showed up as gray par box and didn't move his score
it was actually a par, they figured it out later on
Uli needs sleep!
How hwigh! Lol big jerm
I had my eyes on Issac years ago because the way he throws. He is a firm example of how disc golf discs should be thrown
Why was Silas taken off the lead card?
I like how Mason puts with a stack of pancakes in his hand
Isaac's should be Meet The Robinsons since both him and his bro play
Is it just me, or on hole 6 does it not show Isaac’s first putt and then shows birdie after his putt goes in, but then marks it as a par??
The RobinZONE.
25:05 is too good. The guys trying to build up the drama and then Isac just drops it on the pole to shut them up.
They couldnt build anything up there watching a replay😂
Robinson Crusoe you knuckleheads!! :)
I luv ma pdj number.
My favorite course designer has to be H.B. Clark
Isaac Island
Robinson Range
Loving the course, now this is the discgolf I want to play and watch, not open fields.
Comrade James did not go left 3:56
Isaac Robin-chains
I have a feeling big jerm can’t help but glance over mason…
Robin of the Wood
Dang Paul you been scrappin?
Robbin' Range. (As in robbing the bird, par save, whatever..)
Mr Robinson's Neighborhood...
Robinson radius
I’m sorry but who is that sitting next to jerm?
Suomalaiset vauhdissa! Come on!
Somebody needs to make a new course and name it the Poke and Hope.
ROBINSON RANGE
Yeet
Robinson Range
Isaac Island..
Isaac should have been 37 on hole 6
8:45 a wild Steve has appeared
love u jomez!!! u guys look kinda sad in your intro haha i hope everything's OK
Robin-zone
I'm watching this at 1.25x speed and I've had a lot of coffee... I think I'll leave it at that 1.25x speed for now 😅😅😅
Chains singing > plop of golf ball going into a cup, and it’s not even close.
Paul looks so tired
They are constantly talk about nerves and why isn’t issac nervous etc.. but athletes (especially that have played other sports at a high level) THRIVE on the pressure and tend to perform their best when the pressure is on.. I know disc golf is more mental and a different pace than many sports, but I think that thriving under pressure easily translates to DG
I know germ is pronouncing the name correctly, but every time i hear him say NEEK-LOSS i want to take a hostage!
Uli looks 13
Kristen Tatter I would love to see a tatter tot disc from her.
SPOILER SHIELD 🛡️
Getting of the “par-train” commentators curse implies it won’t be a stop he likes 😢.
love the content, but gotta give some constructive criticism. There is a dire need to show chase cards in tournaments as of late, I think the lack of content showing what "could be" rids the ability to add the suspense of a possible upset or chase card champion. Saying "Wow maybe a possible chase card champ" and showing the final 2 holes is not enough to make viewers care about the gravity of the situation. I'd love it if you could find a way to team up with another crew or hire more cameras to keep tabs on what other cards are doing in these situations. watching live it was a nail-biter halfway through with Silas Schultz making a run and Robinson starting to slow down and throw bad shots. This feeling is missing when no content is provided to let the viewer feel these emotions. keep up the great work everyone!
@@chucksherron my thoughts exactly
@@chucksherron yes, the whole “right to film a card” thing needs to change. Why can’t anyone film while they’re at a public park?
@@playdiscgolf1546 anyone can “film” out there, not everyone has the right to publish it with the pdga and dgpt name on their video. That’s what jomez and gatekeeper are paying for
@@hagenschwark8908 actually not everyone can film them out there. Try taking a DSLR to a DiscGolf pro tour event without a media pass… they’ll tell you to put it away within the first three holes.
Nearly everyone of these courses is in a reserved park or private space where they can in fact tell you not to film
Jomez, you are all great and we love you but please make a poll to bring back the old scoring graphics, it was alot alot better
I really appreciate the quality coverage but I wish you guys (Big Jerm and Paul) would let the moment live a little more often and give the players their just due and space. So many times it seems you're talking about something else completely unrelated while a player is attempting an important putt or throwing a shot, as if that's some sort of backround noise. I can't be the only one who finds this annoying.
Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy watching Jomez Pro but I also think that just like players, there is always room for commentators to grow and improve. Just my amateur observations, please don't hate!
Mason ford ruined that star frame rip😨😨😨😨
Jerms hat is ridiculous 🤡
