I removed the front resonator on my 4.2L S5 and my 3.0T A7... it sounded great at full throttle and from the outside of the vehicle... but inside the drone was REAL... I have a b9.5 S5 coupe with the same color combo as yours... love it, but aint doing any muffler mods... Id like to get a tune, but the pops and bangs... i like a little gurgle, but the pops/bangs is a no for me... and i know thats a part of the tune...

Congrats on the car. Yes it will still be tamed in comfort. Mine still does with an exhaust as well.

Yes cutting off the originals before the muffler
