- Alright then. It’s time to jump into another unique monster. This time it’s a stage 3 Audi RS5 Sportback B9. Sounding absolutely insane and with crazy launches it does some heavy numbers. Damn, this is coolest RS5 you've featured on the channel in my opinion. The NA V8 will always be special but this thing is just a freak with these upgrades.

10 sec quarter mile time is the kind of thing you get in a Porsche 911 Turbo S (like $500k AUD). This claims to achieve that with extra seats, and more boot space. And it probably costs less than that with the upgrades. Absolutely insane.

Yes correct I've seen the Porsche 911 Turbo S on Carwow and it doesn't play so I am sure this would obliterate the competition too on Carwow
Well u know its an amazing engine since Porsche uses it in its line-up, all V6 engines as of 2022 use the 2.9 with the exception that 3.0 remains in the base Cayenne, but Panamera and Macan models do not use it, and Cayenne is due to replacement in a year or two and will most likely ditch the 3.0 for the 2.9. One might say it has the Porsche performance because it is Porsche performance haha.
You can buy this car for 137000 $ AUD.

Maybe RS5 is only good if you don’t plan on going upgrading turbos? The S4/S5/RS3 already in the 9’s with upgraded turbos.
Upgraded turbos is a huge step in tuning

My 1st Audi was an 1988 90 which had a 5 cyl and 5 speed. Just as I was morphing into an Audi freak I was surprised to hear all this negative crap (P00R HANDLING, WASTES FUEL etc)about having 4 wheels driven.....and then what do think happened BMW, Mercedes and just about every other player including our North America junk manufacturers came out with all kinds of 4 WHEEL DRIVE vehicles. Now they can all thank Audi for selling the whole business.
I sold my 1988 90 and got a 2002 A4 but I can tell you that 90 had beautiful door frame weather stripping (like any brand new car!) And so many features that didn't show up on other cars for 10 years! Love your car and video. 🇨🇦

@@Auditography pes or whipple supercharger will fix it :) good for 650hp and 600nm of torque. I love the interior of new rs5 and the speed, but that high revving V8 and timeless styling from Walter De Silva.... Is priceless.

Love Audi, especially the RS models, but there are things that Audi should look at to be greater than it's competitors???!!!! Gearbox??!!! Kickdown and delayed response.....Top end in higher revs and gears.....then more power to compensate for the additional weight of the Quattro system??!!!! I know that the Quattro system does present unique challenges!!! Do not do things exactly the same everytime!!! Audi has done great things with the Quattro system and the additional weight disadvantages!!!! Time to take it to the next level!!!! There are ways and means??!!!! Positioning of the Gearbox more to the rear of the car....weight distribution.....I know this will present nore unique challenges???!!!.......liked additional weight, drive shafts etc......make it happen???!!!.........Time to think out the box......🤔....
Very nice ! Impressive. I have just moved down from a C7 RS6 Litchfield monster (750 BHP plus) to a 2021 year RS5 stock! Love the Rs5 but my understanding is that the ECU is locked at time of posting and no mapping can be done.. :(

Mine is stock. It’s fun for sure. And I can put a bike in the back or drive my kids around. And it’s civilized when I want. Modifications would trade the well rounded traits for pure speed which I can’t use much.

10 seconds for stage 3 car is not impressing anyone. Daily driving m550i with OTS tune, it pulled 10.7 at 131mph. Stage 3 show be knocking on 9s lol
That's a TTV8 lol same thing would happen to an RS7. Also this RS5 isn't on E. Stage 3 on E runs high 9s

1:50 I would still buy a B8.5 with the 4.2 V8, #1 reason is i hate that shifter, looks like a lazy shifter from a A6, they should have kept the aluminum ball shifter the B8.5 had.
In the B10, you wont even have a shifter... So be happy what you have ☺
