I am Jamaican. Nope, not offensive. Every word used was in context, except "cornrows", Jamaicans say 'canerows' because that's the main crop our ancestors were harvesting with the feature of having 'rows'. With their dress, Rosa's was a simple tropical print, so not unique to our culture. Charles, now, had our flag and the red can also represent another dominant religious group in Jamaica, the Rastafarians. Nothing about this offends me. The accents are trash and hilarious. Personally, I mimic a lot of accents, especially when watching shows and I like a lot of American accents as well. I don't think it should be offensive. It simply means I liked and took notice of enough to want to replicate, which is a feature of culture-- to share, adopt, etc.. With technology and social media, sharing is not only possible, but inevitable. So, happy to share a part of my culture with you 🎉
If u like B99 keep watching because every season is hilarious 😂 once u learn the characters dynamic with each other u will love this show on a whole other level 😅😂
Ironically I watched that one a while ago and it wasn’t my favorite. But I think maybe future context makes it funnier for people? Idk. I didn’t like it much for a couple reasons, but there were some things I liked. That reaction will go up in a couple weeks 😌
The Holt v. Wunch feud is one of my favorite running jokes. This is only a taste of what is in store. 😂

It might be. Whenever I introduce people to this show, I sometimes start with this episode to hook them in.
I love that the Terry storyline resolved with him talking to his wife, not 1. giving in and getting the surgery or 2. Not getting it and lying to her!
Me too! I really appreciate that, it’s not the typical tv/movie nonsense with lies and miscommunication
season 3-5 are really really gooood
Season 2, Jimmy Jabs is the best episode of the season
