I don't like to go to Gatlinburg on weekends because of the traffic and pedestrians. I like watching Jon and Bobbies vlogs because I like to see what restaurants are open in the Smokies. I tell my passengers about J and B in the hills to look at for suggestions for restaurants while they visiting. Love you guys❤

Man, I remember having chipped beef with gravy over toast in the 50's. My dad would make it and I loved it. I think it was from Hormel and it came in a glass jar with a lid you popped off with a bottle opener. Very salty too. Yes Bobbi, biscuits and gravy for me!! Melaney from SoCal.

Those pineapple pancakes look insanely good, but so did those eggs, cheese and biscuits. Very reasonably priced. The cheesecake pancakes sounded awesome too! Probably a lot of people having breakfast there and then heading to the park. I bet in park those breakfasts would have been $18-$20 instead of $10-$12!
John, not sure if you know, but creamed chipped beef on toast is known by another name that originated in Army around WW11. It’s in old Army cookbooks as Sh** on a shingle. We had a little elderly Christian neighbor that would make it for her son once a month when he would visit her..Shocked me the first time she said that when we were talking one day🤣😂sure didn’t expect that from her lol..Thanks for reminding me of her. Glad to see a dried beef entree on the menu! So homey and old school. I discovered Hormel now has a refrigerated version in a pouch. I found it with cold cuts and such. I like it a lot better than the glass jarred version, a lot less salty.

I would get what John had minus the cheese. Not a fan of any kind of pancake. Every year at Perkin's I get the Magnificent 7 breaksfast free for my Birthday. It is 3 pancakes, 2 e ggs your way and 2 bacon or sausage. Here in South Central PA we call chipped beef creamed chip beef or dried beef. We are having dried beef and home fries with onions for Sunday dinner today. We have it over toast and I put it over my potatoes too. I never eat out while in Pigeon Forge to save money. I bring cereal and milk for breakfast and a Hormel meal to heat in the microwave for supper. That way each time I come down I can do an attraction other than DW. Your food reviews show all the various options available in the Smokies. Have a great week ahead.❤
SOS is one of my favorites. My mother used to make a big pot of it when we were kids. Still love it to this day. Your breakfast looked delicious. Those biscuits were massive. Total carb fest, I would have to take a nap afterwards! Though it appears Bobbie likes the dessert for breakfast I just cannot get into them. To much sugar first thing. Great video, well done. One thing that really is kind of overlooked when you guys go to these restaurants in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg You are usually getting multiple meals from the leftovers. So that makes it an even bigger bargain when you think about it!
I suggest anyone going to the smokies this time of the year better get to any place there early,the place is literally a zoo this time of the year,I would never go there again in the summer,crazy.

Pineapple upside down is one of my favorite cakes also but I think I would pass on the pancakes. All that icing would make my teeth hurt. Looks like a nice place though and I saw a few things on the menu I would try.

SOS is one of my favorites. My mother used to make a big pot of it when we were kids. Still love it to this day. Your breakfast looked delicious. Those biscuits were massive. Total carb fest, I would have to take a nap afterwards! Though it appears Bobbie likes the dessert for breakfast I just cannot get into them. To much sugar first thing. Great video, well done. Both of our Mom's always made chipped beef gravy. I did like the pancakes, but they were very sweet. Next time, I will get the biscuits in gravy.😎😎

Like the chipped beef better than the gravy version. Plus the eggs and cheese on top was a bonus!!! Biscuits could've used the gravy Bobbie I agree!!!! Love Pigeon Forge/ Sevierville. But Gatlinburg is more picturesque for sure.

Ironically, I had it today over buttered toast like most of the time. The crossover move from Sh#t on a shingle, using toast instead of biscuits.

One thing that really is kind of overlooked when you guys go to these restaurants in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg You are usually getting multiple meals from the leftovers. So that makes it an even bigger bargain when you think about it!

Pineapple upside down is one of my favorite cakes also but I think I would pass on the pancakes. All that icing would make my teeth hurt. Looks like a nice place though and I saw a few things on the menu I would try.
