I’m part of Nu-7, also known as Hammer Down, a mobile task force of the SCP Foundation. A couple of months ago, tourists on the island of Stratis discovered a portal. Their tour guide went into the portal and was later found dead and mangled in a tree on Stratis, 12 feet from the ground.
The foundation has discovered that this portal takes those who enter to a alternate reality. In this dimension, we’ve received reports of several phenomena and hostile entities. I’m told the air in this alternate stratis is even contaminated with radioactive particles that would force anyone going through the portal to wear CBRN suits. The most hazardous entity of all can manipulate both space and time.
Another team of Nu-7 was sent through the portal to recce the area and report back what they found. They haven’t returned so we’re being sent in to find them and if possible, finish the job.

But are one of my favourite MTFs
Just The thought of having to leave a building that you know is occupied by an anomaly to your back is so unnerving

Definitely need more of these videos, the horror scp-esque missions are always a joy to watch and the narration really adds another level of enjoyment to these types of videos.

I was trying to find an old video I once saw. I don't know if it was Squad or Arma 3, but it was something with SCPs and I loved it. Then I found this video and thought... damn, that looks lovely

Mobile Task Force Nu-7 (Hammer Down), is tasked in the investigation of an unknown realities in (Redacted) Stratus Island after its discoveries by a group of tourist, their tour guide who was suspect to be (Redacted) went into the portal and was missing for a few weeks, before its remain was Discovered on a tree, mangled beyond recognition, after the incident, the foundation took notice and blocked off stratus island and gave the tourist amnestic treatment, while covering up any trace of the incident, a group of Nu-7 was tasked in the monitoring the area and report back on what they found, they havent returned after a few weeks and following the dissapearance another Team of Nu-7 was deployed, the team was tasked in the investigation of the dissapearance of the previous Nu-7 and possibly Finish The Job.

why would they send hammer down for this? my understanding of hammer down is it's to be deployed in an "oh sh*t everything is going wrong" scenario like a large scale containment breach.
they should've send Omega-12 (Achillie Heels) since its on another Realities, but ehh they have same common idea as Nu-7, shoot anything that is anomalous
