@@rankyb8088 ahhh I see it’s a feel thing for me… every time I anchor top I overcompensate and end up missing drastically rolling over or simply just too under the ball
As someone who is ok not great, i struggle most with down and in and middle in pitches. Cant time them and cant make good contact. Anything else im decent. "Swing at good pitches" doesnt necessarily work because most players just spam 2 pitches in same spots on the edge of the zone all game because thier hard asf to hit. And the diff between a strike and ball in that spot is tiny. Wish there was more of a penalty for overuse of 1 pitch/ area or spamming 3-0 counts before every throwing a strike.
Damn I thought I was the only one 😂 bruh I'd be playing someone on playstation (I'm one Xbox one S) soon as I hit just one homer they start spamming pitches it's so crazy n honestly that is just some chicken sh@t 😂 but I try to make the most of it I personally don't spam pitches to the point where I can't even pause the game
Do you think I’m at a disadvantage playing on a 42” gaming tv? I’m talking about size wise not input delay wise because it’s a very high end oled tv it has the same delay as a monitor
If it had delay then yes but if it doesn’t play whatever feels comfortable for you, in fps bigger is kinda worse because it’s so much to look at but in the show it could help bc technically the ball would be bigger and all you have to focus on is the strike zone not all the corners of the tv and stuff
Don't give up Keep practicing. Trust I have a bad habit of slamming my pci down for some odd reason. Not sure what console you play on but that PCI is pretty sensitive so pay attention to how you place your thumb and you can also try using the anchor dots
I know this is late but ive found that placing the tip of my finger on the bottom edge of the thumbstick has helped me a ton. Its made it a lot easier to move faster and smash those triple digit high fastballs.
Weird in depth question. What is your eye level in relation to your monitor? Some days I see the ball well and feel like I manage the strike zone. Is there anything you do to adjust based on players height?
If the pitchers wind up allows it, I watch right where the ball will be released from the hand, so right out in front of the cap area of the player. Otherwise if it's a sideways pitcher ofcourse you gotta adjust
Love the video bro. I’ve been using purple precision rings since the end of 23 and they definitely make a huge difference for me. My question is how am I to combat a 2 strike count and I’m given a pitch low in either corner and also in the zone when my precision rings won’t allow my stick to give myself proper placement. I’ve been hammering pitches all in the middle of the zone but can’t get anything but a ground out for the most part below that part of the zone.
Stop using stupid gimmicks and just practice slight movements with the PCI. Anybody can hit in the middle of the zone and if those “Rings” prevent you from reaching the corners its hot garbage good players wont give you many pitches in the middle. You have to just learn little movements
@@Spc_Garza I don’t believe it’s a gimmick. My game has improved a lot since using them. It also helps me not chase at bad pitches that are beneath the zone. Some times things aren’t a gimmick and are actually beneficial to one’s performance
@@connoralcina5829 I’ve tried all. I like the purple ones better. I’d even prefer the black ones over the green ones. It helps me not chase balls at the dirt or any other pitch out of the zone I shouldn’t be swinging at.
I almost exclusively use contact swing when there's a runner on third or if I have a really good contactt leadoff hitter and i only use power swing when im in certain situations with heavy hitters
Your tip about using the PCI anchor as a guide for pitches to swing at has been an absolute game changer. I'm swinging at so many less bad pitches
One trick helps me tremendously is anchoring the pci dead center high. All your movements will be down, and you eliminate a axis. I never move pci up
I do the exact opposite I achor at the bottom instead of the top
@@markmarsh10 kinda depends on what pitcher your facing but yeah i do anchor it low if hes constantly throwing there. Might as well

@@markmarsh10 i just want to say, hitting online and offline are two completley differnt animals. players target all kinds of spots.
Bro the #1 guy frostie leaves his pci at the bottom wdym 🤣 and has been for years

After watching this batting .213
Best hitting tips in YT!
I am WS player but still struggle in hitting

I just started to play zone seriously. Im having a hard time placing pci and timing simultaneously. I've been practicing for a while now. Any tips?
Use different pci visuals. Like the bat or something

Yo Zazzi this a bit late but what monitor you use
do u look at the pitchers release point
Yea I find it best if you watch the pitchers glove during the wind up it’s will show you the release point of the ball

i overly focus on what my eyes are doing before each pitch and its very annoying. i think it is partly because my eyes suck lol
What kind of glasses are those?
are precision rings worth it? just bought the green ones hoping it helps 😭
I love em, be patient with em
Where did you buy just the green ones. The ones I see are all three of them
Best tips. Point blank. Keep up the good work
Lol and after watching this video all my players have went up in there batting avg.
Also do you power/contact swing ever? Or just normal swing?
@@schaaf411every pro/high level player only use normal swing

I’ve been using green precision rings for 3/4 days now how long does it take for it to fully break. its still a little too stiff
Give it a week, once you get used to it, you’ll never go back
Use the green cqc , galaxys slip when I use them

Purple
@Zazzi28 does it depend on the controller for xbox cause the green one works better, I tried the purple one but it was stiff as hell 🤣

What color prings should I get in on Xbox I have fusion pro controller
Purple.
Do u use the same galaxy control freeks on your Xbox controller?
I use Xbox specific ones I think.
This guy actually really explains its
I literally just can’t time when to hit, I have the placement down sort of but my timing is always late
Do you play on a monitor?
What controller do you use on xbox for mlb the show
Stock Power A
Can you sense the link to the low rise kontrol freek please? I’m having trouble finding them

Should come in a 2 pack with a high rise, called mid rise high rise pack.
Yo thanks bro I’m hitting everything now only started playing a few days ago
You said use power swing every time. Did I hear that correct jw. Most people say use the regular swing a on Xbox and x on playstation.
Regular swing always
So hard for me to hit inside pitches
What a banger out of Canada

After watching ur video im averaging 25ks per game
Thank you sir
For those of you ballers that buy attachments for your controller to play better i would recommend super gluing your thumb to the left joystick 😂😂
Hitting tips 101…. Easy you either have the hand eye coordination to hit above .300 or you don’t.
I’m bout 333 with my whole team
It’s hand eye coordination and also repetition
Wait ur supposed press X to swing I thought it was only A
X on PlayStation, A on Xbox. There’s a time and place for the other swings imo though
I almost exclusively use contact swing when there's a runner on third or if I have a really good contactt leadoff hitter and i only use power swing when im in certain situations with heavy hitters
hell yea
YUHHHHHHHHHH
Definitely don’t swing power all the time good pitchers will see this and throw outside pitches to bait a swimg
