Being taught stuff like survival skills/first aid training is very good, but we also need to train the young to become literate, have mathematical skills, understand the complex society we live in, and eventually they'll learn a trade and/or go to university
In real life, they indeed exists. But the "teachers" are their mother and other adult orang utan that somehow they meet in the jungle (orang utan is solitary animal. They live alone or with their small family but somehow when they roaming the trees, they meet with other orang utans).
But since these orang utans are mostly orphan in this video, they don't have parents. Soo the worker there teach them.
And yeah, ORANG UTAN is the proper words. Not one word(Orangutan). But it's two words. West people, please spell correctly. Don't messing up with other people's language and then spread this false spelling to all around the world... -_-

watching animals shows that they're only wild and brutal because they need that to survive, because that's their environment.
if they lived like us they'd be even more chill and friendly than us.

Beni on a diet is both so sad and funny. They stop his beloved milk and has to settle for water with a drop of milk, which doesn't impress him one bit. Then he escapes and gets into the banana store and has a banana banquet. Later when he's learning to climb trees, his branch breaks and he falls to the ground breaking his leg. Sadly he landed on another orang and breaks her arm. The two of them are in plaster and kept inside for weeks because they can't go to class. It's very boring for them, but they both heal well.

Such an absolutely fascinating thing to watch them. The brilliance they show is outstanding. We 100% came from apes, there is no other explanation.
I was actually crying watching this.. Remembering that here in Indonesia, these beautiful creatures are being killed for the sake of "Palm Oil" business. Their habitat is almost gone now. I dont know if in 10-20 years we can still witness this cute moment or not...

yes you can, idk abt indonesia but in malaysia there are sanctuaries/conservations for orangutans and they have this sanctuary which is a whole island and they rescue orangutans and put them in that island and let them breed/live. so they have a whole island of forest for them to live in.
