In my humble opinion, Don Francisco is simply the greatest songwriter/singer in the history of Christendom. He is really some sort of balladeer. He has an amazing ability to tell well-known Bible stories in the course of a song that he himself has originated. The best part of all is, every one of his songs touches my heart deeply and yes, sometimes bring me to tears. --- Jack Barker, Pastor, The One Call Away Online Church headquartered as it were in Bakersfield, CA Several years ago Don stopped in Bakersfield to give a wonderful concert of his songs at a local Catholic church, which I was fortunate enough to witness myself. The "house" was filled to capacity, needless to say.
Don Francisco helped me when I first became a Christian back in 1988 and still today in 2020 the songs still are inspirational to me in my later years of life. Enjoy new Christians
Don Francisco's abilities to write songs, brings life into the stories he sings about. They bring you into the room. Bring you heart to heart with the characters, so you can share the experience with them, as if they're happening all over today. You're apart of the miracle of God,s saving Grace. You experienced His Love in an amazing way, that spent to be. . His talent iis a God's gift to everyone. God talks to us through His Spirit, as he shares his knowledge of the love of God for everyone. It's a celebration!
I have listened to Don Francisco's music for about 38 years. But this song called to me when I was not walking closely with my Heavenly Father. My name is Adam. And my Heavenly Father seeks those who are lost!!!
I have been listening to Don for 37 yesrs = simply the best .lhave seen him live 3 times and every time seen people come to CHRIST and Salvation = What a GIFTED and humble Man.....
A modern day disciple of Christ whose God given talent is to proclaim the Word through his incredibly pictorial musicianship. I know not of anyone else who has managed to bring the Word of God to life in such a way through their music and descriptive interpretation. Thank God for both of you, Don and Wendy.
I really like how the 2 songs go together. I love the second song, "I don't care where you've been sleeping, I don't care who's made your bed, I've already gave my life to set you free, there's no sin you can imagine that is stronger than my love, and it's all yours if you return again to Me." Thank You Jesus!
when God called out to me in the darkness that I was in he didn't ask me where I was he asked me aren't you tired yet aren't you ready to come home. and when I threw my hands up in the air and said whatever it takes Lord whatever it takes my life was changed in an instant.
Jesus modeled this all inclusive and unconditional love for all people who were open to receive his love at that time. A person can only “receive” if they are shaped by the potter to be a vessel able to take in love. In this present time/eon there are those that have hardened hearts and it is by God, so that not all come into metanoia (awareness of the truth) at the same time, and so that we may be partakers in his work. The labor of showing love to the unlovable.. opposition such as Pharaoh standing in opposition to the Israelites able to escape his chains of slavery is something that God increased for his glory. The sovereign LORD designs some to be consigned to disobedience a bit longer than others, so that God’s great mercy and love will be revealed slowly over HISTORY (his drama) and it will look nigh to impossible to win over the odds stacked against us. When Christ lay in the grave for 3 days/nights, all seemed hopeless for the disciples. They could hardly believe Mary when she brought the news that he is risen…come see the place where he was lain. He is not there! He was vivified, and alone has immortality so far.. until the resurrection. All seems hopeless in this world if we look upon the outer view of how political realms fight and can’t solve our problems and we get sick and Big Pharma can’t solve either and vaccines are given but yet people are getting sick and some dying. Is our Hope in this world system? No we hope in Christ and his finished work and labor of extremely great love. “No greater love can be displayed to the universe than that a man would lay down his life for a friend.” If God says “All souls are mine”, and he put away the sin of the world, once and for all, and casts our sin as far as the East is from the West, how can we not share that love too? “Freely you have received, now go forth and get out of the boat, and freely give, “ discerning who the spirit is now moving in their life. Shake the dust off your feet to those who are still temporarily being locked up in stubbornness and are not yet drawn to the savior. Their day will happen later so we can love them by leaving them to their crappy religion or atheism. … Until God’s wrath has accomplished it’s task in their life. Romans 1 “the pressure of a loving Father (wrath) abides on all those who are currently suppressing the truth, and running away from truth and love.” Blind, lost, and dead… who is able to heal them? Not us, but God’s word can. Share a verse or biblical concept and then leave it to God to bear witness and use his pressure (wrath) to draw/drag them opposite to where they are running. Thanks be to God who gives us such incredible inside info of his kingdom through Christ and the Early Apostles, but now even more so through a clear message of Grace given to Paul. How can we keep silent?
The master of deception begins with his discetion of the word. The bible's being torn apart. I grew up on don fransisco but now his songs have depth and meaning and love.
Don Francisco was one of the first Christian Artists I heard when I came to faith in Christ back in 1981 his songs deeply touched my heart and moved me. An amazing Story Teller of the scriptures which really brought them to life! I remember once my brother and I during the summer of 1982 doing yard work at a Jewish family friend's house blasting these songs outside while we were working. People thought we were crazy but we loved it! Anyone notice the Keyboard player in this clip? I believe he's a very young David Bainbridge, the founder and brilliant song writer/musician of Iona, an incredible Celtic Christian Band, very progressive, who theme their songs based on some of the early Missionaries of Ireland/England like Patrick and Brendan(Brendan's Voyage)...Unreal!
I have a similar testimony. A friend kept giving me Christian albums and the 2nd album he gave me was Don's "Forgiven" album. It was largely these songs(Don, Phil Keaggy, Larry Norman, Keith Green, etc.), plus my friend's open ear that was willing to talk about anything without any criticism or judgement that eventually lead me to Salvation; 5/1/80. I still have over 100 CCM albums, and a working turntable to play them on. I keep them all in a corner I refer to as "The Vinyl Resting Place".
I need to say, i was born again in a very main line denomination, by my Father GOD, who is not denominational, My Father GOD arranged a beautiful transformation, into the reality of sonship with the creator of all things, My Father used Don to bring our relationship into focus, that in Christ I am un Adamed and therefore un sinned , a NEW creation, reborn into the lineage of the second Adam (Jesus ) and the last Adam, who knew no sin, that by His substitution, He creator Father GOD has declared me holy and righteous before Him, as His offspring, GOD reproducing Himself, AFTER HIS OWN KIND, unlimitedness of the highest order, Truth is Freedom, they that have ears to hear let them hear, what is the definition of Eternal Life? thank you DF for your powerful ministry! rb 1978!

This is funny, I don't know Don's full catalog, so I saw the title of this video "Adam & I Don't Care", and I was like - "hmm, that's an intriguing title, let me see where Don's going with this one". It's a tribute to how amazing his lyrics are that I had that thought. So Don, if you are reading this, please see if you can come up with some powerful theological treatise with the title "Adam & I Don't Care".

I could not agree more with maybe the exception of Keith Green and for all the same reasons!
@@hot5540 Agreed. And I was just about to say the same thing about Keith Green too!
No doubt he hears HIS VOICE!!!
I start every morning with Adam, Where Are You? and totally agree with you.🕊️🙏

You can feel the heart break of God as he cries to Adam. And yet the the lamb of God stands by with redemption of God. A mystery but nonetheless true.

God bless Don and Wendy..
He is very good
I saw him in concert early/mid 80s. He shared about his wife's alcohol problems and how she was 6 months free. It was in South Central PA.
