    I look from the history how the company has reacted to Earnings. To my big surprise - this patterns is recurring again. It is true in many aspects of life. By knowing your History - you have an edge in determining the future. To some extent. It's always better then nothing.

    LK on Friday fit this pattern, although Citron's statement on being long made the rebound trade much clearer. Thank you for this video, really solidifies what I learned trading LK. You guys are the very best.

    Thank You for all the free information ! There are a lot of trading Guru's out there these days so you have to be very careful and selective about who you are learning from . I have found so far that I really like and am learning a lot from your videos . Also I absolutely love the teacher and student breakdown "or breakout " LOL .

    I think my wife is growing tired of me talking about Bella. Anyways, I definitely study the past to make more informed decisions for future trades. 95% of my trades are earnings plays. I occasionally make that “first in” trade on many A.M. earnings releases. I save the premarket screenshots from the last few times I watched the particular stock so I have an idea on how much volume/liquidity to expect, how much range it has within the first few seconds, and what premarket pattern it forms afterward.
    Had a great week this week just from trading GE because of this technique. I was ready, fully armed with its recent history on earnings days. Was first in, traded the pullbacks, and wasn’t surprised by anything. In fact, right after I type this I’m gonna start looking back at my TWTR and SNAP records. I’m coming for ya TWTR and SNAP.

    I like the ideas of separating the setups into reactionary fast trigger finger momo breakdown and retracement to aggressive origin base structure. Understanding what I could've done vs what my plan is takes the pressure to be perfect on entry off a bit.

    I study my trading journal one time on end of week and one time on end of month.Last time i start make my screnshot with notes on end of sesion and i see my strategy often give me no more then 2 reward to 1 risk.With 50% more less win ratio i start set my take profit target on 2 x reward not on 4 becose this work very rarely.

    Hey Mike thanks for all you do. Question, do your prop traders follow these popular short players on twitter and is that where they get the first look at the news usually?

    • @smbcapital
      @smbcapital  4 года назад +1

      Traders will follow twitter and typically newsletters that these short players put out. Also helps to have a news wire service that will let us know when there is breaking news on stocks

    LK jumped on my Rvol scanner today. In TOS news was 3 minutes late. At 12:51 we see also a volume spike in reversal side, and also, 3 minutes later news was that Citron is long on LK.
    28.00 at 12:45 was a great entry for a retracement.
