    Hi Joe, my friend bought a new Cherokee Trail Hawk in 2015 and he loves it. He owned a 2002 Jeep Liberty before this and this vehicle is far superior. His has the more radical front end styling but it’s still a real handsome vehicle finished in the dark green metallic with the black hood pad. Definitely his best Jeep he ever purchased. Lastly, his has the Pentastar V6 so I think it’s slightly quicker than the turbo 4 version you tested.

I test drove one two years ago. Had it down between the Cherokee and the Escape. I went with the Escape because of reliability. I just can't trust FCA. I really wish Jeep would spin off into their own company. Then I may come back. Really miss my 2000 Cherokee with the straight six. That thing could drive in and out of anything!!!

They got rid of that car 5 years later and replaced it with a new Satellite wagon. Kept that to '84. Growing up we had Plymouths so I'm a Mopar fan. This past weekend I rented a Focus. Just wondered why I couldn't reset the radio stations.not right...and the backup camera was a bit larger than my wallet..that Galaxy replaced a '60 Plymouth.

When you move into the option packages including the "elite" then you get heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, Lane departure, parallel parking assist, auto hatchback, sunroof, etc. Would have been best to see the window sticker so you could see how few options this one actually had. Fact I only saw 3 options total on this one..the 2.0L Turbo (+$500), the cold weather group(floormats and maybe block heater), and the tow package. Trust me I love my 2019 TH Elite. This has a 9-speed transmission, not an 8-speed and it is notorious for being slow in response time. I was wondering if you noticed if they fixed the problem with that.

    Dude, the "dead buttons" in vehicle controls and on key fob are options your test trailhawk were lacking...unlike my almost fully loaded '14 KL. Your test trim level was missing some optional groups like Safety, Technology, Comfort/Convenience -- which included remote start, panic alarm & remote lift gate buttons on fob. And a 4-cylinder turbo on a trail-rated 4x4 with a tow package?? Can only tow 1500 lbs...they could have given you a loaded v6 for the video, just sayin'.

      Since hes at a dealership he can ask to look at whatever they have on hand. Press models directly from the oem there usually isnt a say

    This actually have a 9 speed ZF transmission. The Grand Cherokee has the better 8 speed ZF transmission.

      It's an 8-speed. The only time it sees 9th is downhill at a 100mph. 🙃

    You mentioned color-matched door handles. Is there a car out there that doesn’t color-match their door handles or what?

    • @RaitisRides
      @RaitisRides  5 лет назад

      Carrera11STi yes there are still cars that don’t have that. Plus trucks & SUVs.

    • @temur72

      My truck f150 (flat black) and Nissan 370z ( sliver grey) are not colour matched

    • @james2042
      @james2042 5 лет назад

      There is a massive disconnect between what reviewers get and what people buy. Reviewers always get upper end trims with things like colormached handles, while most vehicles sold just have black/chrome handles. This isnt only about handles though, there are a lot of things like that where the quality plummets on the volume models that people never see in reviews

      I don’t agree James, if you research the vehicle you are considering and are willing to pay for the premium model, then that’s what you get!

    Ok RR admittedly I’m a little late to the party on this one but ummm I’m just gonna come right out and say it ... Cherokee sales suck in the U.S. so Jeep needs to drop in a Hemi ... AWD ... benchmark a Macan S then give it some SRT love!!! 😂😂😂
