It's actually a local italian manufacturer that makes good slides and has a few of those ring models. It's pretty hard tò use compared to a regular slide, but lets you keep full finger mobility. Pretty neat. Not cheap thoug

My favs were the two fretless guys actually. Loved what Louis Barras did at 0:50, Karl Golden swept me away, enjoyed Juan Fenrnandos tapping composition, would bend my knee for Makai Schaefer, Juho Ranta had a relatively simple composition, which catches my ear and a lovely tone, liked the mellow melodic vibe Liam Stephenson brought to the table, was turned on by Luis Borges chromatic parts, M.O.I. had an interesting sounding scale and loved the fast up and down slides, Juani got me abducted by aliens, Kevin Frania at 8:05 reminded me of King James by Buckethead, Loved how Toth Balazs transitioned into tapping at 8:28, Will is strong with Will Stewart, got my batteries recharged from that energy
Juani was my pick for this one. He was the most unique one, definately very clean as well. About the rest, some are good some make a few mistakes here and there but overall the level is quite good and it touches my heart to see so many artists doing what they love.
All of these guitarists have amazing technical abilities, but the one that stood out to me was the one that sounded the most cohesive within the structure of a song, and that was Will Stewart (8:32).
Wasn't expecting to see my face on the thumbnail. Shoutout to my fellow fretless player Fountainhead! And thanks Jared for letting me be a part of this !

I am definitely getting listening fatigue but This one is all around very entertaining, full of amazing tone qualities, styles, techniques, tricks, originality and creative expression! I will listen to this again and comment my picks tomorrow.
It felt more difficult to choose this time, there were more entries I really resonated with in this one. I'll give my vote to Juitar, I think their solo was the most fluent and eloquent, felt least like `I have insane chops` and most like `I have a beautiful story to tell'. But Juani's entry was also very much to my liking, as well as Joseph Wilson's and Leroy Chan's. Truly very very hard to narrow down such oodles of talent and skill. Fantastic players all around!

Dude everyone is so sick and ive been refraining from commenting because of that... But @6:50 juani has one of the absolute sickest licks ive ever heard. Holy hell man it was so tasteful and melodic while still being shreddy I guess. But watching his hands and what hes actually doing is what blew me away being a guitar player.
