@@Unrealbr Thank you! 🙏 I met Jack Gardiner a few years ago and observed his fingers effortlessly gliding across the fretboard, like a spider 🕷️🕸️ It was incredibly inspiring, prompting me to work on keeping my fingers closer to the fretboard for faster and more efficient movement. I've had a lot of fun exploring different string pair shapes in the process which work so well 🔥🎸

Truth be told, I'm so sick of hearing shredding, but I'm dedicating myself to watch every one of the shred collab videos and so far I've yet to comment "my vote" for anyone until I saw you play. If you go look at the new comments, you can see where I had to say something immediately after your scene.
Edit: Also, that hair! It'd be an absolute tragedy to not have that hair in the final, actual shred collab video.

@@jrmgtr What you did at 03:54 is the exact same melodic phrasing and rythm as the verse of an old pop french song called "Eve lève toi" by Julie Pietri. as a fellow frog enjoyeur, it threw me off guard not gonna lie.

Juani was my pick for this one. He was the most unique one, definately very clean as well. About the rest, some are good some make a few mistakes here and there but overall the level is quite good and it touches my heart to see so many artists doing what they love.

I rarely make comments on RUclips videos but both Juani @6:49 and Juitar @7:10 were incredible. Juitar was able to not only show off his insane shredding, but add in beautiful melody as well. I would love to listen to both of these solos as bands!

My favs were the two fretless guys actually. Loved what Louis Barras did at 0:50, Karl Golden swept me away, enjoyed Juan Fenrnandos tapping composition, would bend my knee for Makai Schaefer, Juho Ranta had a relatively simple composition, which catches my ear and a lovely tone, liked the mellow melodic vibe Liam Stephenson brought to the table, was turned on by Luis Borges chromatic parts, M.O.I. had an interesting sounding scale and loved the fast up and down slides, Juani got me abducted by aliens, Kevin Frania at 8:05 reminded me of King James by Buckethead, Loved how Toth Balazs transitioned into tapping at 8:28, Will is strong with Will Stewart, got my batteries recharged from that energy

Juho Ranta-Maunus had a tasty solo. Aurelio Tarallo...was that a ring as a slide? That was awesome.
It's actually a local italian manufacturer that makes good slides and has a few of those ring models. It's pretty hard tò use compared to a regular slide, but lets you keep full finger mobility. Pretty neat. Not cheap thoug

@@americaincmusic i posted a link but It got deleted, it's probably against the rules. Their called qp slide. You can search for them. I'd Say most of finger mobility Is intact, but you have to find the right size for you

All of these guitarists have amazing technical abilities, but the one that stood out to me was the one that sounded the most cohesive within the structure of a song, and that was Will Stewart (8:32).

It felt more difficult to choose this time, there were more entries I really resonated with in this one. I'll give my vote to Juitar, I think their solo was the most fluent and eloquent, felt least like `I have insane chops` and most like `I have a beautiful story to tell'. But Juani's entry was also very much to my liking, as well as Joseph Wilson's and Leroy Chan's. Truly very very hard to narrow down such oodles of talent and skill. Fantastic players all around!

Wow,can I say more. The techniques are wonderful the clean precise articulate playing is off the charts I'm from the old school back from the late 60s early 70s playing Zeppelin bands and rush and stuff like that but that stuff is so far behind me I don't even understand it and I won't even try to fake it I'll leave it up to you kids you guys are awesome thanks for keeping the Guitar Alive

Holy hell man it was so tasteful and melodic while still being shreddy I guess. But watching his hands and what hes actually doing is what blew me away being a guitar player.
