I feel like there's so many Megas or Evolutions that you could potentially miss or forget or can't find in game so it makes sense just to view them when you initially can.
fun fact abt eevee in this game, you can evolve and devolve it at will and it gets to keep the moves it had when it devolves. so you can get a vaporeon, teach it scald, devolve it, and evolve it into jolteon and now you have a jolteon with ground coverage.
Redux beedrill does not fall off in the slightest, you can comfortably use it in the elite four btw peck is also a multihit move and im pretty sure you get toxic needle(poison multihit move) And it is either after bawrly or wattson where some new redux forms are added into the middle of the adoption center list
So glad you really liked Wiglett/Wugtrio! I picked one up cause i found a shiny in my play through and it's the only member that stays on the team constantly so far. Major carry potential when you run the right items/stat spreads for certain fights!
For the beedrill, peck is a 5 hit move, and it has a poison stab that is a 5 hit move. With the 30% freeze every hit, and it hitting 5x,its almost guaranteed a status, which boosts the exploit weaknesses. Easily a glass cannon
Damn. Didn't knew you would use one of my favorite mons. Would have loved being named after my main in Unite... although Cheeto is a good name for it... Anyway: - You can find wild Beldum in the room where you faced Steven. - You technically have the Old Rod before you left your house but i recommand waiting past Brawly as the Dexnav will get access to all Fishing AND Surfing encounters once you get past him. - Wugtrio also have Rock Climb for a "Accelerate move" - All 3 forms of Cramorant are slightly differents for abilities. - Beedrill Redux also have access to Peck for a Multi Hit move (same for the next mon past Brawly) - Popcorm should already have access to Bullet Seed at level 1
Saw some other comments saying the same thing but I think for this game, looking at the megas ahead of time is fine since there's so many options and knowing what you'll get helps you figure out what you actually want to use. In a game where fakemon is the whole focus, I'd say wait, but this is a battle game so it's fine!
Also wanted to add an extra comment since this was a very welcome change in my opinion. Male combee now has an evolution and I really love it from both a design standpoint and off raw stats. Just wanted to share cuz I thought it was cool.
Just a note if you do decide to use Redux Kadabra, it becomes a special attacker again when it evolves into Alakazam. Also you can devolve Eevee in this game. That's why that Vaporeon knew Volt Switch Really enjoying this series so far! Excited to see how many different Pokemon you end up using.
im so grateful for the daily uploads of a series like this, ive been missing playthroughs like this and getting a dose of it every day is an instant dopamine hit
You can check the WHOLE team at once instead of looking at the pokemon in front of you (just press the A Button on the "green terrain" in the info menu)
3:24 gen 7 fans were eating good! But so were gen 5 fans when they released Sewaddle! Leavanny in Redux has duel wield, which lets it use keen edge or mega launcher boosted moves TWICE on the same turn with only a 30% damage reduction. It also gets keen edge + super luck as innates to be an absolute crit machine! Guillotine is also a bug type move that has a high crit rate and is boosted by keen edge so it hits twice. It was also buffed to 110 speed and 110 attack.👁👁
You can get the Eeveelutions at 23 also. There is a scientist in the Devon building that will devolve Eevee so you can get any move Eevee can learn on any Eeveelution.
They streamlined that so you can just do it in the menu. There's a bug in the box tho that makes it so that you're missing the gen 4+ evos but they're there if you do it from the party menu
jumping on this comment chain to point out all Eeveelutions therefore have access to ALL moves the other Eeveelutions have since they keep their moves when Devolved, which explains why Vaporeon had Volt Switch and Giga Drain, since the trainer got those moves from Jolteon and Leafeon then made it a Vaporeon. Building Eeveelutions is VERY fun due to this quirk. You'd be surprised how massive their coverage and status movepool go.
I think looking at Megas is fine as there a lot of them. Also you have to fight some people to get some of the mega stones while the majority are given at the time of getting the mega bracelet, so knowing who can go mega is helpful. Also no redux pokemon (or most pokemon in general) ever becomes unviable. Example- I took beedril R to the E4 in V2.1 and Popcorm( Prince) has been on my team for all the gym badges after Roxanne.
Hey, I've been playing this game in my free time, and I just wanted to warn you that the slateport aquarium fights are rough, so be prepared for them. Love this series and this game! Keep up the good work!!
Loving the daily series upload it was definitely something I missed! I started playing through this rom the first time you played it, maybe it's time for me to return to it!!
Absolutely loving this series so far. Honestly such a cool concept for a game. Maybe a bit much for me to play as it feels like information overload but it's enthralling to see someone else play it hah
I love these redux videos, im always waiting for the next episode. Because im so excited to see what you love about the game in all the different pokemon you'll use for this playthrough.
This game has been so fun for the beta 2.5 . I've had a blast with Dewgong(not mega yet), kilowattrel, and mega shuckle 3 mons i never thought i'd love. Cal i think looking at the megas is fine also, i just got passed the 6th gym and i can't remember any of the stones i bought, found, have. like it took me a whole gym to realize i had picked up the shuckite and not put it on shuckle. Have fun :3
Beedrill Redux is insane. There's a multi-hit poison move, like bullet seed and such, but each hit has a 10% to poison. So halfway through the move, Exploit Weakness would proc. He learns it later though, so make sure you keep an eye on his moves.
hey Cal, Vaporeon knows those moves because in Rustboro's pokemon center, there is a person there that can unevolve your eeveelution pokemon so you can essentially get a Jolteon, teach it volt switch, unevolve back to Eevee, then evolve to Vaporeon still knowing Volt Switch where do you get an eevee? there was a patch of grass in Rustboro as well, just go to the entranceway south of the city, go east, and there should be an entranceway to the patch of grass
I'm pretty sure that other exit to dewford cave is so that if you skipped one or both of the trainers in front and youre absolutelyhellbent on not fighting them, you don't get caught on the way out.
For me personally, you can look at megas and other stuff if you're interested, there are SO MANY megas, redux forms, alternate evolutions, that you can easily miss them. That is if you getting spoiled isn't gonna ruin your experience
Just two things. 1. Gym Leaders punish the rushing players by aging positive effect per each undefeated trainer 2. Monochamp Pokémon are special Pokemon that are added by players who beat this game with one selected type Check the wiki.
Engagement time! I do think it'd be more fun to not check the Megas/designs too early, especially if it's something you intend to use. We can see Mega Golisopod in context, and we get your more organic reaction to seeing it.
Chuggaconroy thats a name i havent heard in awhile. The thing about spoiling yourslef and us about the new forms, pokemon and megas are fine cause i could never experience them myself and its really cool how talented the designers are. I wouldnt mind being nickname by a Steel or water type.
There are so many Pokémon and Megas for them so looking at the Megas should be fine since there might be a chance that you won’t be able to see them all :0
Some of the old megas have been reworked too like mega swampert carried me through this game with flip turn jet punch and punching gloves on top of its abilities, and mega altarias ability is so so funny and good
This playthrough convinced me to try elite redux again after dropping it the first time and i gotta agree, it's a very overwhelming game, from all the things available immediately, abilities, moves, choosing between available Pokémon. I really am not sure how to deal with this :') i
Pokémon don't fall off as fast in this game! In fact, I used Beedrill redux in my Elite Four team in the previous version! That thing is a monster through the whole game. I'm glad you like the redux forms a lot too! I'm genuinely surprised with how many there are and how creative they get, I knew you'd probably get a kick outta Corm. They've added a lot more with the new update, since I just got past Brawly on my current playthrough I have a lot left to see. Brawly was a PAIN to fight though, i hope you figure him better than I did because I was kicked six ways to sunday.
I really wanted to correct you Cal for calling Alolan Grimer "Galarian Muk" But a part of me has a feeling that you said it to be funny. Also Pink Cheeto moment.
Hey Cal love your videos man, just wondering how long does it take you to edit your videos as I'm looking to make edited content in the future and wanted to know how long would it take to edit videos like this
I would say its okay to continue looking these things up, just because there's a chance there might be somethings you could miss while just playing through normally.
I've been waiting for this series, i love it, I hope you let yourself see what you wanna see. Also if i won the nickname gen can you name something Stanley?
Vaporeon has volt switch and other moves it wouldn't normally get caus eevee can de evolve after evolving. So all the eeveelutions have all of each others moves.
Damn, didn't think I'd get a nickname for a mon. It was probably the IBS comment. Wait, I've just realised how ironic it is. I do be emergency exiting often. Gotta name re-name it to IBS for the irony OMG CHEETO
I think you should check out the Megas especially if you're interested in using them. There's so many good ones anyway, the developers really make you spoiled for choice!
I just started watching, once again I'm hoping to be named after a Swirlix/Slurpuff, cause they have a new evolution! Also edit, definitely look at new megas you come across if you want!
I am playing this game, I love it so much but I kinda wish there was a "regular" mode with Pokemons that aren't made to be competitive Pokemons (who also get to your level) nor have the Level Cap thing. There's easy mode but it's still not making it a "regular" game. I love everything about this game except for these two aspects, who are like... The two main aspects. The Pokemons, the new megas / forms, the way it has so many things to do really makes it an amazing experience. Too bad I suck with competitive stuffs I really struggle to progress and enjoy the rest of the game. Like I just got swept by a Charjabug of all thing
For the megas, i think that if you're interested and don't mind getting spoilt, then go ahead. I dont know what other people think tho
^
agreed
I feel like there's so many Megas or Evolutions that you could potentially miss or forget or can't find in game so it makes sense just to view them when you initially can.

Beedux CARRIES in this game. Skill link on something with that much speed and attack is INSANE.
So glad you really liked Wiglett/Wugtrio! I picked one up cause i found a shiny in my play through and it's the only member that stays on the team constantly so far. Major carry potential when you run the right items/stat spreads for certain fights!
I don't think looking at megas is a spoiler, because if it was looking at evolutions would be a spoiler too
41:22 Predicting we get WITDEMDIX within 5 episodes
For the beedrill, peck is a 5 hit move, and it has a poison stab that is a 5 hit move. With the 30% freeze every hit, and it hitting 5x,its almost guaranteed a status, which boosts the exploit weaknesses. Easily a glass cannon
7:30 as far as I can see, accelerate affects dig and dive on Wugtrio
I should have kept watching, you saw it
Could add that Rock Climb was reworked into a 2 turn move so you can add it to the list
Damn. Didn't knew you would use one of my favorite mons. Would have loved being named after my main in Unite... although Cheeto is a good name for it... Anyway:
- You can find wild Beldum in the room where you faced Steven.
- You technically have the Old Rod before you left your house but i recommand waiting past Brawly as the Dexnav will get access to all Fishing AND Surfing encounters once you get past him.

Day ??? of letting Callum know that Corvisquire/Corviknight were changed to be special attackers in this game, if you end up using it again
day ??? replying to this comment. idk maybe itll boost it, idk how youtube works.
Just a note if you do decide to use Redux Kadabra, it becomes a special attacker again when it evolves into Alakazam.
Also you can devolve Eevee in this game. That's why that Vaporeon knew Volt Switch
Really enjoying this series so far! Excited to see how many different Pokemon you end up using.
Personally, it doesn't matter to me. If you want to look at the megas and stuff, go for it
im so grateful for the daily uploads of a series like this, ive been missing playthroughs like this and getting a dose of it every day is an instant dopamine hit
0:28 You don't need to heal, your pokemon are automatically healed at the start of every battle
I used to watch your daily videos so often so I'm very glad they're back, just don't stress yourself over it though!
Accelerate+meteor beam (glimora has this combo btw)
Gamefreak should call to these artists and ask them to sell designs to make it official. They're that good in my opinion
There’s so many redux, megas, new evolutions the chances of missing something I feel is high so it doesn’t matter to me.
Real Isopod Hours LESTGOOOOO
Really do love having a series i can tune into everyday! Keep it up callum^^
You can check the WHOLE team at once instead of looking at the pokemon in front of you (just press the A Button on the "green terrain" in the info menu)
I love that Cal makes the ending like a PSA, it is so cute how he talks about Sky
I'm so glad to be named after Popcorm. It's such a fun looking new mon
the daily series is amazing keep it up
There are too many pokemon in this to be worried about spoiling the megas and reduxs.
3:24 gen 7 fans were eating good! But so were gen 5 fans when they released Sewaddle! I'm so here for the longer series. Had to give this game a shot and it's cool to play along

New Elite redux video, goated birthday present thank you cal (:
happy birthday!
These episodes are basically the only time i'm also playing this game, love to play while watching
Fantastic series! I've been playing redux since you shared it ages ago on your channel, but it looks like I missed an update! Great video sir!

The redux Reuniclus went crazy on my run. Cheeto was a absolute legend and i hope he returns someday for gen 10 ffas.
hey Cal, Vaporeon knows those moves because in Rustboro's pokemon center, there is a person there that can unevolve your eeveelution pokemon so you can essentially get a Jolteon, teach it volt switch, unevolve back to Eevee, then evolve to Vaporeon still knowing Volt Switch
where do you get an eevee? there was a patch of grass in Rustboro as well, just go to the entranceway south of the city, go east, and there should be an entranceway to the patch of grass
The Marbeep bumblesheep has got to be one of the cutest mons I've ever seen
I'm pretty sure that other exit to dewford cave is so that if you skipped one or both of the trainers in front and youre absolutelyhellbent on not fighting them, you don't get caught on the way out.

Just two things.
1. Gym Leaders punish the rushing players by aging positive effect per each undefeated trainer
2. Monochamp Pokémon are special Pokemon that are added by players who beat this game with one selected type
Check the wiki.
In my personal playthrough, Popcorm was incredible I loved it. Also in a previous playthrough solosis was also incredible
Honestly, I'm so hyped for Beedrill and see how it holds up in battle! And I don't mind the Mega spoilers
Engagement time! I do think it'd be more fun to not check the Megas/designs too early, especially if it's something you intend to use. We can see Mega Golisopod in context, and we get your more organic reaction to seeing it.

all of the new type pokemon from the center are so good and cute 😭 i’d have made a team of all of them
For the megas. If you want to look at the mega while looking at the pokemon on the dex you can. And for redux Beedrill it does not fall off
There are so many Pokémon and Megas for them so looking at the Megas should be fine since there might be a chance that you won’t be able to see them all :0
I'm only at the fourth gym and I already have a full box of unique redux mons, so you may want to organize your boxes~
Vaporeon with Volt Switch? Oh right, you can de-volve Eeveelutions in this! So every Eeveelution has access to each others' moves.
I love waking up every morning and watching these videos, genuinely make my day :)
I really am not sure how to deal with this :') i

i BELIEVE pokemon rowe is getting a massive update tomorrow
Hey Cal love your videos man, just wondering how long does it take you to edit your videos as I'm looking to make edited content in the future and wanted to know how long would it take to edit videos like this
I would say its okay to continue looking these things up, just because there's a chance there might be somethings you could miss while just playing through normally.
Definitely check the megas out. No chance you get to use them all in one play through!
I've been waiting for this series, i love it, I hope you let yourself see what you wanna see.
Also if i won the nickname gen can you name something Stanley?
Bro that Steven fight took my so off guard during my first playthrough 😂
Popcorm my beloved, what an incredible design
Yeah look it up, this game is crazy packed with content so it is absolutely worth it knowing what is avaliable for you
I'd love it if you showed the megas because who knows if we will ever see it again!
I like when you look up the info personally
Vaporeon has volt switch and other moves it wouldn't normally get caus eevee can de evolve after evolving. So all the eeveelutions have all of each others moves.
2:29 I know _Cowboy Bebop_ music when I hear it. 😎
Always excited for another episode :)
All eeveelutions can learn any move any eeveelution can
Don't mind if you look at the Megas, also, the eeveelutions are interesting to look into.
Awesome series so far! But why the hell does Steven fight you with a Metagross and GENESECT before the second gym? Congrats on beating him tho lmao
ok so i haven't seen the full video yet so idk if u changed it but on beedrill use toxic needles over poison jab, its just poison type icicle spear
Please check out the eevee. They have a gimmick called de-evolution. Where if you evolve it you can de-evolve to another eeveelution
I usually get to watch as soon as vid goes live but I had an early shift :(
Can confirm redux clef line is good
I was waiting for him to experience the new form of snom
Arm canon Slowbro is were its at
Damn, didn't think I'd get a nickname for a mon. It was probably the IBS comment.
Wait, I've just realised how ironic it is. I do be emergency exiting often.
Gotta name re-name it to IBS for the irony
OMG CHEETO
Definitely check out the megas if they come up
No parabolic charge for bellibolt? Would give it nice staying power
I think you should check out the Megas especially if you're interested in using them. There's so many good ones anyway, the developers really make you spoiled for choice!
been enjoying the series so much, that I've also been playing this 😌💅
Corm and Cram in the same episode.
CAL CHECK THE ADOPTION CENTER!!!!! (yellow roof building) pretty much after every gym they have new redux mon to buy and later on mega stones
Kadabra gonna break ya kneecaps
I just started watching, once again I'm hoping to be named after a Swirlix/Slurpuff, cause they have a new evolution! Also edit, definitely look at new megas you come across if you want!
Oop, gifted mind removes psychic weaknesses, so mega slowbeo just has no weaknesses
Pink Cram would be kinda fire tho.
Only in Dewford town by Ep 8...
PokéRogue really has changed you /s
Use peck on the beedrill, its good to use with skill link and the frostbite ability
I WANNA SEE THE MEGAS EARLY!!!!
I am playing this game, I love it so much but I kinda wish there was a "regular" mode with Pokemons that aren't made to be competitive Pokemons (who also get to your level) nor have the Level Cap thing. There's easy mode but it's still not making it a "regular" game.
