Nice machine for a shop I have the semi-Automatic Speedex !! I have a slica bravo, Ilco 45, and a Framon duplicator in my work van that is a wonderful machine there indeed always dead on and keys work smothly!! #LockBoss
I have had this duplicator for 2 years, its held up well, cuts very smoothly. If I had anything bad to say coming from a mobile only shop it seems to lose calibration alot. Maybe just the bouncing around on the road and you wouldn’t see that in a store. I wasn’t too impressed with the way the machine recalibrate process. I ended up switching to the Silica Flash 008 and have been super impressed. I like the micrometer for calibration. #Lockboss

And originally I purchased the HPC tip Stops, for both regular tip stop keys and also for Best keys Your demos are the most informative Mister #Lockboss

Sounds like my Cole key machine 😁 a #Lockboss knows the sound of cutting keys, I hate walking through the automotive department at Walmart, those cassette cartridge machines never cut right... Got the adapters for the b106/b111 for one machine but the other has jaws like the speedex, I like the speedex, I used one in the van when I worked for a company, would definitely move it to the front lines if I had another 👍

I really like this machine. I have a tiny micro duplicator in my truck. It gets worked out good each day. But like you said without those 4 way jaws getting flingers damage blades quick. Thanks for sharing PJ #lockboss

We run Bravo 2-3's at the shop. They have 3 tip-stop positions for each of the 4 jaws. Definitely spoils you on options to hold keys. Large head key blanks also work for impromptu tip-stops. #LockBoss
Great video. I have one of these in my van for years and the only issue I have had is the plastic knobs on the key vices crack and wont tighten. Someone said they make metal ones now but I just replaced both knobs last year and this old horse is still going strong mechanically. #lockboss

The sound of the speedex is definitely distinct if. When I started locksmithing I started with the Speedex semi automatic key machine. That sound took me back. It's been 15 years now. I still love the industry just as much now as I did when I started. #LockBoss

🌵🇨🇦 A friend had broken his key in the door of his Land Rover and asked me to pull it out for him. After I got it out and looked at the bitting I could see why it broke where it broke. It looked like a side by side 4 cuts close to the Bow. He was down to his last key and asked if I could make some for him. I ordered up 10 of the RV4 blanks and when they arrived I set up to cut them. Would not fit my MicroMetric, would not fit my Cole 3K, and had to revert to the Chinese 288. Maybe I can sell my Micro, Cole, and 288 and get close enough to buy one of these bad boys. #LockBoss 🇨🇦🌵

I've had the Mini-Speedex for 8 years and now that I have a 1/4 inch board between the jaws and the tracer and cutter, (held with rubber bands) I don't need to calibrate it as often. So now I love it! it was my #2 key machine. And I appreciate that the shoulder gage can't get in the way of the cutter. I still use the Mini-Speedex in my vehicle. I should put a #lockboss sticker on it! 🙂 Mini-Speedex and Speedex machines at #clksupplies!
A good concise demo, though you need to have put the machine on a rubber pad to keep it from slipping around. A #LockBoss could put small grippy rubber feet on it if they didn't want to bold it down.
