My sister is definitely type three. I can't tell how many times we've been talking with someone and she's gotten the "yes, exactly" or "you get it" or "how did you knew". Is so easy for her to genuinely connect with people.
Its probably because she had .. some sort of painful experiences. Connecting with people like this requires genuinely understanding an experience, a pain .. its ok if youre not this type.
It's my Mom for me. It's like I am talking to her and then she says something and I feel like: "it's either you were stalking me or you had a cam on me. Because there is ABSOLUTELY no way she knows!" It's uncannnyyy!!!!
tell her that! it's such a nice compliment
Aww RIP Steve Irwin. He was such a legend and had so much to offer our world. I’m so glad his kids are continuing his legacy ❤

For real?
This man must have mined hundreds of hours to find Joe Rogan talking about Chinpanzees. I respect these artistic decisions, pulls the piece together.
Not as hard as you might think. 😂
I definitely recommend trying to implement all types into your charisma, find your main type, master it, and slowly start implementing different types
Highly agree! My main charisma type is the “funny” type and “authentic” a close second. But I notice that I have some aspects of Conviction in less common scenarios.
Bottom-line: Just like you said, master one, **maybe two**, charisma types, but don’t hinder yourself from exploring other traits of charisma! 😄
I was thinking about this!!! I’m mainly empathetic but then again I have moments of funny and energetic

Waiting for Lex to comment: “Thanks for including me in your list, I'm deeply grateful & honored. Love you all.”
lol Spot on Totally read this in his voice! Haha i love Lex
I'm the empathetic type, but I stopped talking to two of my friends because of that. They always fight with each other and both come to me to pour their hearts out. But in normal times, they never talk to me and they never ask how I am, they just come to tell me their problems. I told them the same thing I wrote here.
Oh my god, that clip of Steve Irwin nearly brought me to tears. He was a huge reason I started learning as much as I have about animals. This is a very good video I will be sharing with friends.
Edit: Weirdly, I have bursts of the energetic type. I talk with my hands all the time but I get overwhelmed if I feel people are spending too much time looking at me. I start to feel like I am taking up too much of people's attention.
It happens to me too, I’m an extrovert and I like to talk a lot, not because I like attention but I enjoy company, they feed me their energy hence I get more hyper and talk even more. But then I get subconscious that people are looking at me and that’s when I just shut up and let others take over. Btw, Steve Irwin’s clip also made my heart ache a bit, he wanted to do so much, he left such an immense legacy, his children are amazing people who are making a huge difference but still his presence is deeply missed. 😢
Maybe you are an HSP? I can relate.
I learned so much from this channel, and I especially appreciate introvert-specific content and actionable steps and exercise.
Would you mind doing a breakdown of Dr. Gregory House some day? I know the show finished a decade ago, but it is both an influential and a complex character and I think it will be interesting to many viewers.
One of the best videos I've seen from you guys great job!
Fascinating that I do a bit right and wrong from each charisma type.
#5 Is my style, I'd prefer listening than talking, The problem is people say I come off too serious & defensive, with a wall always up & always keep people at arms length. 🤷🏿♂️
Ditto on #5, and I expect most people with the time and inclination to watch this channel gravitate towards that. Listen to the criticism you're receiving. Too serious could mean you need to emote more, or talk about things that carry a little levity. Defensive could mean that you view disagreement as an opportunity to debate. Most people hate to debate and might perceive your argument as a defensive response. Turn disagreement into an opportunity to empathize by asking just a few questions about their point of view, then switch subjects. Or maybe I'm wrong about everything.
@@DavidDavyDavidson No that's an very accurate assessment of my original post. Appreciate the fact it gave food for thought.
@@DavidDavyDavidson Good reply!
I wish I could give this comment an award. I get told the same thing and I don't know what they mean. I'm not very talkative and they think I'm closed.
It depends how you react when people ask you questions, if you spend the entire time encouraging the other person to talk but when it’s your turn you reply with one word or vague answers it can come off as weird. I was the same way, but when I started to talk more that’s when people found me more enjoyable to have a conversation with
I have these 3 types which resonates with me , funny type because I feel sometimes my roasting reaches a level where they might dislike me so good to learn about that pitfall and also empathetic and also authentic so thanks I will focus on improving these 3
10000% the empathetic type. I can’t stand the energetic types because usually they are just obnoxious … most people really like me but I def notice the ones who overlook me don’t have depth or are heavily guarded so they don’t get anything from me
Are u really emphatic when you don't like obnoxious people?????
Who does? Guard yourself. If you don't have a hand to give a help up then how do you expect to help another? Get my drift?

Would love to see a video of what Hollywood movies and TV get wrong about charisma.
Another wonderful video 😌😁👍
I resonated most with the honest type first and empathetic type second. I was surprised at how much both pitfalls speak to some of my own social challenges, particularly the empathetic one. I guess it helps me focus on things I can work on.
Well done 👏
We all have all of these types, but it s interesting to understand how they work.

Great video ❤
I’m energetic and everyone loves me. I also always make it a point to make sure EVERYONE in the room feels like they’re part of the socializing.
I guess I subconsciously managed to avoid the pitfalls of my personality. Thanks, this has been eye opening. I’m going to work even more on my empathy and make sure not only does everyone always have a good time, I want them to all feel like they can also use my shoulder as support for anything. Some do already, but I want everyone to trust me enough to let me be their strength.
God I love people, everyone’s so magical and filled with their own stories.
Edit: Hahaha! I paused during the segment that spoke about my personality and, the moment I unpaused, you mentioned being more empathetic helps my type tremendously. I guess I was on the right track!
Wow! I guess you're so amazing, that you didn't need any of this video anyway! Incredible!!!
seems like you are also the self assured type huh

Mix of energetic and authentic
This just reminds me that I have multiple personalities in a good way! lol I'm esp a regular combo of energetic, empathetic, and authentic & contextually self-assured. I like the idea that people think I'm funny just bc of those high energy traits--now I understand. TY

The 4th type is the definition of Ni (introverted Intuition) in cognitive functions and their pitfall is just the same as the video describes.
In N. American culture Ni is valued quite highly and often the power of having broad horizons and see through all the possibilities and prepare for the bad or utilise the good, is underrated, viewed as something that holds you back. Especially when it's combined with sensor practical-tangible realism.
Having a goal and being focused on it is very important. However, we need to have our eyes open for the other paths life and circumstances can lead us to. And if possible, be able to adapt to that. Being realistic and flexible is also very important.
yeah, you are right, i'm entj with Ni function and i have the self assured/conviction charisma type and i always want to develop a funny type but this is not suitable for me, so if you can give some tips to develop my conviction charisma type it will be welcome
Now that you mentioned MBTI, we can attribute each cognitive function for each type.
1) The funny type - Ne
2) The energetic type - Se
3) The empathetic type - Fe
4) The self assured type - Ni
5) The authentic type - Fi
@@midnightsky3782 ohhh, thank you for this information, it was really useful, and do you know how can i develop my self assured charisma type?
@@midnightsky3782 My thoughts exactly while watching the video
@@F-7-B ENTJs' true power is that they combine Ni with their dominant Ni, so they tend to be more flexible taking into consideration the changes of the present and enact their plans. A more funny attitude might not be as suitable for you as getting people to follow your vision needs respect that mostly people that tend to be more serious gain more easily. Finding the sense of humour that suits you though, like being witty and elevate others as part of the team, might work for you.
Could you make a video on how to express what you want to say? I often have very complicated and (*in my opinion) good arguments or thoughts but I have a hard time expressing them and explaining them, without for example adding boring side notes that I realise after speaking was just and making my companions bored or and uninterested in what I just said. How do I get better at speaking and expressing myself?
I recognize a combo of all of these in personality . I find that people are drawn to me & enjoy having me around & I love people & enjoy being present, too. But I find too much socializing exhausting. I spend a lot of time alone doing “me” stuff, which is cool, too.
Yo he's right! I'm the enthusiastic type and people don't open up to me 😅
this was mind blowing to watch...
I still have no idea what I am! 😂 People always say I'm hilarious, I write so I know it's my wit and not just gestures, but also am very happy and boisterous, but only once I'm comfortable. I also have the bad habit of dominating conversations when topics I like come up. People have said I'm empathic, but I don't think it's a defining trait. So either the first or second? I know for a fact I'm not self-assured.
I personally feel like I'm a mixture of the energetic, empathetic, a tiny bit of self-assured, and authentic personality type, with a heavy lean towards the authentic type.
"Oprah ~was a Master of this."
*Frantically googles Oprah to make sure I didn't miss her passing
She's alright, guys
I can be each one of those types (least the energetic or the self-assured ... but I can pull those off, too, if I feel like it ...) ...
i’m empathy & authentic.. it’s an odd mixture tbh
And there is absolutely nothing "empathetic" about Oprah Winfrey, it's all an act and not a good one either. 😂😂😂😂
I bet 90% of us who saw the video will be that mixture. Those traits are more common in introverts and only introverts would care about RUclips channel that analyzes human behavior.

Believe it or not, Miss Manners has the best advice for the first type (funny), which is to remember that the only consistently safe subject of a joke is yourself. Learn to poke fun at yourself (without being self-deprecating) and you’ll charm the socks off people. The complimentary teasing suggested here works well too, as long as it doesn’t appear fake or ingratiating.
I'm energetic with elements of emphathy and sometimes people think my energy is for grabbing attention but in reality its just having good time bruh

There are some real gurus in the comment section
I tend to vaccilate between Engertic and Empathic. They seem pretty opposite, but I've always been like that. Odd. I feel like so feel people understand me back, though, so many there's some of the Authenticity in there too.
I identify with all 5 of these. Maybe thats why I’m so interested in people, because what ever category they are in, they mirror something in me 🤔
Humans are multifaceted, so we can’t (or shouldn’t) put ourselves in one “box” or “type.” Everyone has all of these types (or at least a combo of them) in their personality. That’s what makes people so interesting to study :)
I think I'm the authentic type. I work in a makeup store, and just a few days ago my coworker was whispering about a client who was super "orange" with a very dark tan. I saw who she was talking about, went up to the client and announced, "Are you darker than last summer?!" I talked with both the client and my coworker, talking about how I found foundation to match her fake tan a few times. We both knew it was a fake tan because her palms and wrists were as white as I am (I also joke about being the color of paper to anyone with dark shin) Apparently, she gave up fake tanning because of maintenance, and was doing tanning bed once a week. Anyways, after the client left, my coworker told me she was worried about me at first, because she thought I was too blunt. I assured her that this was someone I've had plenty of interactions with.
I think the hardest part of being "authentic" is that, especially in a work environment like the one above, you must learn to pull that honesty back, and let yourself build up a relationship before being free. Some people really respond to honesty, and clients have called me "efficient" because I'll tell them if a perfume smells bad or if a foundation is wrong for their skin type, and I don't focus on it and suggest something else. But I know it's off putting for some, even disrespectful, and my biggest weakness is reading other people's cues.
i am definetly the energetic type.
Keep in mind, you can actually have multiple personality types of who you are, some may contrast more then the others, but if you are an enthusiast its possible you can also be the self assured type, while being an enthusiast might be more of what people see you as, you also show traits of someone that is self assured
For the self-assured type, the keyword is they "seem" to know exactly what they're doing/wanting . Like he said in the video we all have insecurities and no one actually knows it all. This is good to know for 2 reasons, 1) don't compare yourself to them thinking they're perfect and look down on yourself
2) never just blindly follow someone or put them on a pedestal just because they seem so "self-assured"
😉 💪
(Edit: typo)
God-assured
I've met a few people in my life that seemed to know my thoughts.
You might think that was great but it really pissed me off how they could finish my sentences faster than I could.
can you mix the honest and the self-assured type, because i act like both them most of the time
5 is cool, but what about my 11 other personalities?
What is a brutal truth about life that needs to be said?
Stop hoping for wrong things. No matter how hard the bird tries, it can never fly in the ocean. All your dreams are valid but most of your hopes aren't.
The world won't believe in you until you believe in yourself. All the accomplishments in life start with self-belief.
No one cares enough. Even your own reflection never hugs your own Shadow and you think others care for you. No one cares enough about your problems except your family.
Stop searching for things you already have. We live in a world where people always are so desperate to find happiness when they already have it. Little joys aren't that little.
People assume those who cry are the weakest. Even the mighty sky that holds the sun, moon and stars cry rain. For me they are the kindest ones.
We live in a world where strangers can become best friends as easily as best friends can become strangers.
Graveyards and temples(churches, mosques, gumbas) are mostly filled with people who fears the most .
Listen to every advice but interpret the meaning of only few.
Some people are gonna criticize you for doing what's unexpected from you even if its a noble deed. Don't criticise me for writing 9 points instead of 7.

During the graham norton interview with Brand, he had just gotten divorced and Norton mentioned that Katie perry had been on the show the week before. Brand got offended and told him off. The clip was cut from the televised show but it made the news here in the UK (you might be able to find the article on google) .
