If you’ve ever wanted to know what personality type leads to being beloved by men and women alike, you’re going to like this video about Chris Hemsworth and Thor: Ragnarok.
I started researching for this video intending to make something around “Thor: Ragnarok”. But I very quickly realized that the real person worth studying is Chris Hemsworth. A single Chris Hemsworth interview can make you laugh, smile, and say "aw". It's really hard not to like him!
There are four things about Chris Hemsworth that seem to truly make people love being around him.
Even castmates that started out wanting NOT to like Chris Hemsworth end up raving about him and saying how funny he is or how sweet he is.
And the hype for his latest movie Thor: Ragnaraok is off the charts! The Thor Ragnarok trailer looks amazing and it's because we finally found a director that’s willing to let Chris Hemsworth and Thor bleed their personalities together just like Robert Downey Jr. and Iron Man.
And as you see in the video it literally transformed Thor from the worst ranked Marvel film on Rotten Tomatoes (Thor: The Dark World) to the highest (Thor: Ragnarok).
Which reflects even more impressively on how funny Chris Hemsworth is when you consider that director Taika Waititi claims Thor: Ragnarok is ~80% improvised.
So let’s take a look at Chris Hemsworth’s personality and what makes him so special.
2:33 How To Make Jokes That Elevate The People Around You (and make them love you for it)
4:16 How To Be Funny By Teasing And How To Be Genuine
5:30 How To Touch In A Way People Like And How To Touch Without Being Creepy
10:11 How To Share Embarrassing Stories In A Way That Conveys Confidence And Makes People Respect You
11:41 Sharing Praise And Being Everyone’s Favorite Team Member
13:25 How To Make A Compliment Feel Genuine And Not Fake (i.e., How To Compliment Without Being A Suckup)

Fun fact: Chris Hemsworth is described as the "most sensitive Hemsworth brother". He didn't like conflict, he liked to sew, he was never a bully, he was very much the stereotypical middle child--creative, peacekeeping and sensitive. The reason he's considered the most attractive of all the brothers even if Liam could challenge him looks-wise is because he's a warm, kind, sensitive person, and is unafraid to show it. Given that he gets a lot of big bruiser badass roles, the revelation that he's not only a great dad but that he's always been "the sensitive one" who clearly shares affection and is completely and totally secure in his masculinity is extremely attractive to both women and men.

I think a lot of people are watching all these videos, because I meet people who try to do all these things that these videos recommend, but everything goes out the window when something goes wrong and then their true character comes out and you see their true colors. To me, being genuine and being a nice person is the best way to be popular. Most people can see through other people when they are trying to employ a technique and trying to "be popular". Maybe it's best not to try to "be popular" but to be a good person who cares about others, and then you will be popular.

I think it depends on who the other person it is and also how you personally act while you do that. I am a "Universal toucher" and it does mislead certain people but once me and that person is in the group. They usually start to realize that I'm just a "touchy" person and that I'm not interested in that way. If they drop hits that they like me, I try to basically tell them I see them only as friends with verbal language and body language. If it start getting too weird though then I don't touch that person at all while still showing in good with everyone else.

I think that the point about his jokes elevating the people around him is spot on. I've actually noticed how much of a difference this makes in real life. When I was in middle school/early high school, my friends and I would constantly make jokes at one another's expense. The "haha you have no friends" or the "what the hell are you wearing?" type. We would pass it off as silly and not serious, but it made me feel like crap in the long run, and actually hurt my self-esteem a lot. Now, we all make jokes that elevate others, and everything is so much better. We don't do it insincerely either. Not saying this is the only reason my friendships are in a better place nowadays, but it played its part.
tl;dr: Make jokes that build your friends up, not tear them down. It really does make a difference.

Ellie Em my husband has a humor like that. I’ve said to be his friend you have to have thick skin and “get” him or else you won’t hold up and take it personally. In his defense, he can take as well as give too. But it can be too much sometimes, especially when it’s just a constant barrage of playful insults, it just creates a negative vibe. He’s very charismatic otherwise though. People love him generally.

Whatever you do, don't resort to watching funny/cute pet videos or you'll end up with 11 cats...

it just makes me realize that most of it is just looks and money , because i have similar traits , and i was still treated like a shit as kid , teen , then i had 2 years of me going mental and beating anyone who said something that i didnt like , weirdly people tried then to be my "friends" well they tried to be around me more

To be famous you have to unlock something within you, basically what people call charisma, for some it’s being funny for others it’s being intimidating, for most it’s a mix.

It can be a gradual change tho. I know I went from being crazy and lighthearted around a lot of people back in middle school to being very shy within a few years. (And it being what people know me as now) So I think it can go both ways too.
