You have to be outspoken to sell a fight. Obviously there is a language barrier with eastern European boxers. Look at canelo for example, he talks more trash in English now.

Dmitry was explaining that to fight Beterbiev ON THE INSIDE you have no chance. In other words, keep it long, to have a chance of a victory. And he is correct. But Beterbiev is much more than just power, and even a skilled boxer like Bivol would struggle to keep him off.

Canelo shows great calmness, Crawford doesn’t convince me as a welterweight he needs to hurry up and fight someone worth mentioning.

Looking at this video, safe to say that Bivol knows exactly what his opponents have to offer and exactly what he should do to gain advantage over them in a fight using his skillset. Easily the best and smartest boxer at 175 and a fight with Beterbiev won't go any different than the Canelo fight. Guarantee you all that!

Ok. Canelo would probably last more than two rounds you're right. If Bivol was smart, tactical , and cautious with his plan of victory, then Beterbiev would be smart, tactical, and destructive. Imagine giving Beterbiev the same opportunities a very restrained Bivol had. I don't believe in canelo's ability. I think he's been given some very questionable decisions, I think that he is quite possibly the biggest drug cheat since Lance Armstrong, and I think that he has been fed B level champions throughout the super middleweight division that not one boxing fan really gave the other guy a chance to beat him. If you give Canelo the losses he deserves on his record he's clearly not the pound for pound great they're all calling him. Bivol has stripped away the first layer of invisibility and more will come. A good plan and stick to it,long legs amazing footwork,fast and effective jab …and smart enough to know that in an inside fight he has no chance …beterbiev has amazing boxing skills and power ,a perfect footwork and lots of jabs can be effective against beterbiev,could be an amazing fight both talented ,humble and great champions
Bivol is a humble/respected champion and a talented talented boxer but he ain't beating Beterbiev.
Beterbiev is fantastic, to beat him you gotta have great footwork first and foremost, Smith does not have as good a footwork as Bivol , you gotta move and sting a simple jab will not keep him off so its gotta be sharp and often as you can't let Beterbiev set himself , has to be kept where he is constantly going to set himself but not be able to do so , so plenty of variety all coming from a solid jab and fast footwork to leave him thin air, easy enough to say but then Bivol has the capability , question is does Bivol have the right natural power to include it in a higher workrate 🤷 because without the constant solid jab eventually Beterbiev will get to him

Beterbiev is a notoriously slow starter. Usually it takes him three rounds to get going. With fights as short as they are now that’s a tough strategy. He’d have to knock Bivol down or out. This fight has to happen but Bivol is waiting for Canelo which I don’t think it ever going to happen again.

I love both of them, interestingly enough they have very contrasting styles ... but i'm gonna be real about this, regardless of my opinion Bivol knows what he's capable of but i think Beterbiev powers through him like he does everyone else, Gvozdyk was a very talented pugilist to, a technical master and although Bivol is faster and manages distance better eventually in them later rounds i think Beterbiev just steps on the gas and Bivol caves, if it goes to the score cards than i have no doubt Bivol takes the win on points ... however i think Beterbiev stops him before all that, i do say this to Bivol though ... prove me wrong champ, in this fight i don't care who wins really because both of them are stellar which honestly ain't nobody else in the 175 pound division can hold a candle to at the moment, but i know what i see when i watch Beterbiev, man's a nightmare for ANYONE ... Since Gvozdyk is back in it i would love to see a fight between him and Bivol that would be a technically sound fight though.

With Beterbiev something similar happens to what happened with Golovkin in his prime. No matter how good a boxer you are, not even your defensive skills, if the monster catches you with a well connected punch you go to the canvas. Bivol is an excellent boxer and personally I think he has many more resources than Beterbiev, but the Beterbiev's power is real. One oversight by Dmitry and that fight ends

@@rohanjoseph9829 Bivol has a good jab, uses distances well, most of his punches are effective (he doesn't waste punches), he's in excellent physical condition (you can see him throwing 3 or 4 punch combinations in the last few rounds), he's very smart in the ring. Beterbiev has power, he cuts the ring well but he also takes a lot of punishment when it comes to pressing. His "hunter" style makes him receive a lot of punishment, we have already seen him on the canvas and that is precisely why. I think Bivol is a better boxer, but I also think Bivol won't take Beterbiev's punch. Joe Smith staggered Bivol with a well connected punch
