Nice video and great service with the rust-free frames necessary for safety and handling the powerful engine torque. It would be gravy on the biscuit if you also had C4 and C5 frames as well as body panel as well. Personally I would go for a standard sheet metal body panels as opposed to fiberglass. Keep up the good work. Thanks

Nice video...I wish I would have weighed my frame, it has all the suspension on it now, basically a rolling chassis.. the front half of the frame was almost perfect, the back part there was some flaking and loss of steel, how much exactly is unknown. Seemed pretty solid where the rear trailing arms are mounted. There was also what looked like orange peel, not smooth steel from the midpoint of the frame, back. No rust thru holes at all, nothing even close to that. I did notice the frame is made out of 12 gauge (.105") steel. I did some extra welding on the frame seams to try and strengthen it. Planned motor is a 540 big block.

Very nice, I just got a 1980 C3 W/5.7 350. After getting it home, I was checking it over and found a really bad rust hole on the bottom part of the frame right behind the passenger front tire so I can imagine what the rest may be like. I was wondering the price tag on rebuilding vs new ?

I have rewatched this video to see some areas of the frame for reference and I am still amazed that the cameraman keeps the camera on the guy talking instead of using the two frames that he has for reference. All he has to do is to point to the areas he is talking about but instead never looks down and only refers to them. This video should be used in the video presentation of how NOT to make a video. Video is a visual media and not an aural only one. Why not use the visuals of the subject instead of the talker?

The shims weren't used because the frames were off. The shims were used because the FIBERGLASS was uncontrollable when curing and none were ever the same.

not recycled rubber but real rubber. You lost your integrity throughout the vid but you totally lost it then lol. From a environmental chemist. RECYCLED RUBBER used for suspension parts has 68-77% more durability than auto manufacturers standards. We remove more impurities than the auto manufacturers will invest in. They want to sell you $8000.00 car for $26000 and $12-14000 cars for $50k. They won't invest $0.07 to make a bushing last an extra 50k miles. They want the suckers coming back to the dealer to buy a $0.57 part for $80.00 and 3 hours labor to install it. When I started out in the auto industy I worked at pontiac dealership. Grand ams started having issues with a part that was $4.95 + an hour for labor. (aka 20 mins to do) in my first 6-8 mths there and as the issue became more and more common that same part jumped from $4.95 TO A WHOPPING $89.95. But is people only knew they could buy that same part at a electronics store and the tool required to do it would cost them about $7.

Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned
from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the
Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by
reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated
central gas station per city or county. Now they even want to slow down
all the gas pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From
2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as
exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox
oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no
investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even
created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. "Bundesabgasbespaßungsverbot" in German. :-///
