Meghan Markle went from Hollywood star to the Duchess of Sussex overnight. You might even say she became a real-life fairy tale princess when she married Prince Harry in May 2018. But she’s not fitting in with British royal protocols anytime soon. In fact, it may never happen. Ever since she became the Duchess of Sussex, she hasn’t been afraid to shake up the royal status quo. But while she’s broken a few protocols without a second thought, she’s not exactly going easy on the public, and who can blame her? Every decision she’s ever made since joining the royal family has been scrutinized by the public. But it seems like she’s had enough after giving birth to Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. So not only is she putting her foot down but she’s also enforcing a couple of rules of privacy of her own. And although she’s well within her rights as a parent, the backlash she’s gotten is shining a not-so-positive spotlight on her and Harry.

The clothes are returned to the designer as used for advertising and Meghan and Jessica Mulroney with her fake givenchy receipts gets to keep the cheque Charles thinks paid for her givenchy dress.

As a mother, it's beyond disturbing to see how anyone could think they have rights to your newborns photos, christening, etc. Just because your a "royal". They did more than most new parents would ever allow, just in their own time. So the public had to wait 2 days to see the photo and cameras weren't allowed into the christening... my goodness. Just because tax payers pay thier salary, doesn't mean those same people have rights to their most precious and intimate moments. This is a newborn baby... I dont know how they tolerate this song and dance just to appease the public... I give them so much credit. In a world that has gone absolutely crazy, especially the US (I'm an American), a country whose language we speak, who has long standing traditions, values manners, and respects rules is a relief. The Queen Mother once said to effect that the most important thing to teach children is manners. Meghan knew what she was getting in to and if she can't follow rules that are at least decades old, what hope is there that she can raise Archie as a proper royal. The Queen sets the rules. I grew up in a lower middle class family but my grandmother and my parents made sure I minded my manners and followed family rules and traditions. I am the better for it. Meghan if you want to get along with your new family and grow in their love, you had better get comfortable with your new rules and culture. We have a President who does not follow longstanding rules and traditions. Please don't continue to behave like he does.

But if we in the US go there-that everyone’s health care would be covered by taxpayers-then I, through my elected representatives to government positions, have a right to some say in how people live their lives that affect their health. Smoking, tobacco chewing, and vaping would be gone, day 1. Limits on sugary sodas in restaurants. Wearing helmets riding motorcycles. Failing to live within the guidelines government imposes will carry consequences in treatment availability and costs.
Same with H&M. Return the UK funded costs to the taxpayers, and either pay for or move out of residences that belong to the Crown or nation, and be as private as you like. If you want to continue enjoying the status and privilege of BRF members, then, for the big things, like the birth of a baby, follow the established path as much as possible. You know, if they hadn’t caused a hubbub beforehand about what they WEREN’T going to do (and don’t think for a minute that the idea to announce such things was all about deliberately causing a hubbub), I’m sure the British public would have been fine with a statement that the baby had arrived, mum and baby boy were doing well, but that Meghan is very exhausted and Prince Harry and her doctors want her to rest for a couple of days before introducing Archie to the world. I’m certain there would have been overwhelming empathy for their new family and best wishes and prayers for Meghan to regain her strength.
But that’s not what it was all about. MM has other agendas.
They don’t have custody of their own children in the royal family the reigning monarch has Custodio them that’s why they have to get her permission to take the children out of the country etc.
