wdym?? Annie Mac is a very well-known, prestigious and respected music artist and correspondent herself!! She's one of the og's, has led interviews with some of the most famous music artists! Same goes for Nick Grimshaw, DJ and very much a radio/music-associated person in GB, no wonder Charli joined them on their PC, they're hilarious too
I love the album tbh its the most vulnerable she’s ever been i like the you know bratty side of herself but also admitting her insecurities and thinking about her future as a woman in the industry and her personal life. She’s pumping herself yp but also others. She’s in her early 30s now seems like she is in a place in her life where she’s in between crazy party days and settling down a little bit. Much like her career. Reminiscing about the past but also knowing her brand now. I love this concept Ive loved her for 12yrs now. i love it she brought us a bit of the 2000s/early 2010 art pop club bops vibes💚 She really is in her own lane.
charli masters the short song because she gives you everything you want from the song in your face swiftly and effectively. you never leave a song wishing for more. one of the best to ever do it fr fr fr (and ag❤)

16:00 I love the songs are short bc I can literally listen to them over & over. I had girl so confused remix on REPEAT and the transition blends together so well you can’t tell it started over. Idk if it’s ADHD or a bit of tism but repeating songs tickles my brain just right.
The thing about long songs is interesting to me because my favorite song of all time is Oceanic Feeling by Lorde and that’s 6min 30 seconds and I need to hear every second of it. Also brat is constantly playing at my house!!! It’s such a good album
No babes, Jessie J went on the singing competition because she was being undervalue in her own country... So she went one of the biggest contests there is to make a point - THE point
@@eastwestvideo4469 Im sorry. my response was rude... and very west-centric ...I apologize! here's my best attempt at explaining the humour. S Club 7 are a very un-serious band who were manufactured. even when they were popular they were considered sacharine and cheesy. the idea of them being performed jazzy or scat - which is a more serious, "serious" form of music is just bizarre... and I guess it represents a funny example of one culture viewing another culture'sofferings in a completely different light than the culture its coming from. The way Charli paints the story .... its very absurd.
25:33 girl... Not that racist psycho. I just cannot believe matty does all the racist and misogynistic stuff and Rina is the one who had to recede. Charli you may make songs about female artists being hypocritical but maybe you shouldn't look that farther.

Listen to Sidetracked with Annie and Nick on BBC Sounds: www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/p0gfmzbn
this was the best interview of the era so far
she's so invested and excited in this one, you can feel they're all really vibing
Dying laughing at Charlie going "P-P-P-P-P-P-P" everytime Jessie J gets mentioned
pls let’s keep charli interviewing with actual adults in the music industry 😭 i can’t with all these interviews of her with kid influencers 😩
what kid influencers
