    I do want to add a correction, you can not become an RN in 6 months to a year. Those programs you're seeing online are for registered nurses with their ADN, so they can get their bachelor's degree. There are accelerated programs, but those are still 2 years, no breaks(i.e., summer breaks), plus after 2025, you will need your DNP to become a nurse practitioner, Crna, and Midwife.
