Dexter is one of the best series I've ever watched. So glad I watched it from first season and not the renewal first. Everything makes sense - the characters feel alive and I like how past trauma affects them (especially for Deb). There is a sublte sense of plot armor forDex but it's still believeable how he manages to evade every time.
I almost cried when Cody hugged Dex to say goodbye 5.1+2 hit different than any other major death in other shows. Benz' performance as Rita was flawless.
Wasn't for Asthor wanting to move in with her grandparents Dexter would have been a father to him. Not sure how it would have worked after he faked his death. At east Harrison would the had his brother and sister.

Hall is now only one year younger (52 years old at this moment 2023) then the actor who played his step father Harry was at the beginning of the show in 2006 (53 years old). how life flies past! and im as old as Debrah was in 2006 (27 years old). and i really dont wanna be 42 years old but some day i will, (hopefully.. i guess? xD)

The only ones who look like they've changed a lot are the ones who were just kids back then or who were already kind of old to start with. Everyone else looks like they've aged gracefully, and the women are as beautiful now as they were then.
The two characters I disliked the most were DEBRA MORGAN and DOAKES. Both were always crying, arguing, or bitching and moaning. Rita was a hot little number. Dexter was very, very good. I really enjoyed Jimmy Smits.
I hated that he didn't make it to Argentina. Would of worked out great for him and his son, and Hannah. Unfortunately serial killer stories never end well. In ,Dexter New Blood, the sad end was inevitable.
They all look good and look at John Lithgow he literally looks the same😅. And Julie Benz wow she just gets better with time and of course my dude Doakes he look good he looks Slimmer and younger than all them I remember him and "Mina" from Oz.
