    A car guy doing vlogs and talking about owning and paying for an exotic car is pretty common. Now what this video does that NO ONE ever does is talk about actual numbers. No one ever says how much they pay for daily bills. Like Insurance or what they bought their car for. This is actually one of the best videos Ive ever seen or listened to about the life of owning an exotic car. I cannot wait till I have the funds to buy my dream car and I will be doing the same thing as far as telling people exact costs they can expect when owning such a car. Thank you for not being one of those channels who talk about running costs but dont actually give any real data, or numbers that they actually pay. Again thank you and great video.

      Huge difference in insurance as well when you own your car and when you make payments. Go through your premium and make adjustments. Some things may be higher than what they what should be paying for. I personally own three vehicles and pay the bare minimum on all of them. Under $50 a month for all 3 vehicles, and I own all of them.

      eggncheezy mixes To be honest I don't really see the annoyingness in him what everyone else seems to see. I haven't watched many of his videos but it would seem that his channel is mostly about cars? I don't get it why people find it offensive that some nerdy looking guy talks about a cooler than average car on youtube and maybe throws in a comment that he got laid off from work that day.
      People get offended from the most retarded shit these days without ever stopping to think why they are even feeling those negative feelings and that are those feelings justified.
      It's not like he if flinging out his dick and mocking all the viewers and telling poor people to go fuck themselves and to have a nice day working at mcdonalds.

    • @ICEGTN
      @ICEGTN 8 лет назад

      +SI0AX
      Unless you are going to take the lamborghini (or any other car) to a race track, you don't need special brake fluid.

    • @SI0AX
      @SI0AX 8 лет назад +1

      Luca Fuoco
      So the mechanic just screwed him over big time on that simple job.

    • @maxwebster7572
      @maxwebster7572 8 лет назад

      +Luca Fuoco Ahh but if you live at high altitudes the boiling point of fluid decreases and brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs 10% water by volume / year further decreasing boiling point and stopping performance so unless you don't go to a race track or live at sea level, no you don't need special fluid.

  • @TheRamstoss

    There's also the opportunity cost of not investing the money in the stock market. Index funds in the last 10 years have done let's say 6.5%, $30 per day running costs ($912.50 per month) and $110000 purchase price let's say amortized for 4 years at a measly 2% interest is $2386.46 per month. So total money that could've been invested is $3298.96 per month, which after 4 years at 6.5% return would've been worth $176360. Let's say you keep investing this amount for 20 years, your portfolio would now be worth 1.276 million.
    If you have money to pay $3298.96 for a car, and you can wait, and I highly suggest waiting, invest it until it reaches at least 2 million. Then you can buy a lamborghini from the returns alone.

    You're young and I can't judge you for you wanting a sports car, my first car when I was 18 was a sports car, but worth a LOT LOT less ! I'm now 53 and cars mean absolutely nothing to me other than a means of getting me from A-> B. But I've been where you have been in the sense that a flash car is more of a headache than anything else. You're always worried where you park it, and should anything seriously go wrong, it'll cost an absolute fortune. As I say, easy to judge, but I won't. Easy to say to you to invest your money into projects that'll make you rich, and cars like these will then seem like Honda's.... but I wouldn't have listened to that advice many years ago (at least I don't believe so) :)

      Financing makes sense if your money earns more interest than the loan interest rate. He is financed at 2.99%, some halfway decent bonds can beat that.

    • @charredskeleton

      Yep when you owe a debt every single dollar you spend has an opportunity cost associated it equal to the APR on that loan. Basically think of it as another tax added every time you spend money. We all have debt, some is ok. I would seriously avoid more more then 5% interst on anything. Don't care what it is. Bust your ass to find a way around paying more then 5% on your money. In my mind over 5% is servitude to a debt, some call this usury.

You'll land on your feet I'm sure, especially with your attitude. Some days are going to be rough, sure, but you'll pull through pretty quickly I think. With the Gallardo I'm sure. Keep up the good work! And ignore the haters, they're gloaters really. Also: What about your side business, with the used cars? Could that be expanded into a new career for you maybe? Well, you have the answer to that. Stay strong & positive, that will be what kicks you back into orbit sooner rather than later. All the best!

    Someone commented on another video that this lambo was outdated. He should learn two things:
    1. Never let jealousy dictate your behavior
    2. Every lambo becomes a classic. Your 2015 Civic looks already outdated. Lambo are intemporal.
    Regarding princing, TheStradman is correct. In addition, this being a rare manual and more reliable, value will most likely increase.

    when talking running cost one number is the most important with comparing one car to another at a glance. running cost per mile. with your numbers it's around 37 cents a mile. I have seen the mumbers of several major fleet car programs (ari fleet manager) and from simple work truck accounts to high end rental car accounts to lease programs. 37 cents is pretty good for the first year of ownership. example, running the number for a chrysler 300c (11 cars in the report) they run 25 to 32 cents a mile. I think most would expect a larger gap for a lambo and 300c.
    im a numbers guy and a car nut so, great video man!!!

    I hate buying tires soooo much. Rear tires for my Viper are $550 each and last about a year. I do all my own work - including the mounting and balancing of my tires. I used to work in the auto industry and I know I don't want some random dude wrenching on my car who may or may not be sober and may or may not be properly trained.
    I'm happy for you that you have a car you love. Personally, I really don't understand the draw of the Lamborghini. Why does it need spark plugs already? I think they are very cool looking cars, but I don't think they are worth the price to buy and maintain. Same with Ferrari. I think there are better choices out there.

The 6spd cars do bring a nice chunk more than the e gear model. For reference, a f430 you can get for around 110-120k, a 6spd model will run you around 180k.

Gas wise i average 20 with enthusiastic driving combining city and highway. If i drove like a grandma it will get 30 mpg on the highway. Oil change cost me $100 at a Corvette only service shop. Clutch is around 1k to fix. It does 0-60 in 4.3 and has 186 mph top speed. It does have 94k miles on it, bought it in Nov. 2015 for $58k (cost less than my Ford f250) with 89K miles/1 owner/ clutch replaced 6k miles ago and the best thing is its AWD. Honestly, 1-you can't tell its 12 years old/94k miles because it drives and handles so good and looks great and, 2-its honestly the best Daily Driver sports car, and I say this after owning a M3 and a Carrera S.

    This is what I love about most used supercars. Most people regard them as a bad financial decision, which they MIGHT be depending on what you buy.
    In your case, all you're paying is maintenance costs for as long as you keep the car. Since it's a rare car, you'll enjoy the car for a while, and end up selling it for either the same price you paid for it, or maybe even a profit. Looking at the values of used Diablos now, I should go buy a Murcielago lol.
