early on at 0:52 with the visuals, it looks incredible and amazing, with the sunlight reflecting off the waters, and the tera flying right above the surface waters, and also at 2:08 with the baby croc POV swimming at the low grounds of the waters amongst the seaweeds and witnessing the biepi swim by to catch a school of fish. this game has such a rare and beautiful dino experience, almost as if your living based of the POV from a dino in a documentary, to experience how they survived etc. the isle Evrima is truly a gem and could hold so much potential.
I think I enjoyed this one more than any of your other Isle videos, it was really fun to see you succeed. I would like to see you try this again in the future but with more of a mind to your fellow cannibals, your mutations and health management so you can dominate your fellows too, not just the poor Dibble population.
You can get to highlands lake from water access quicker if you start from the salt rock. There is a part where the grass almost connects that you can walk up and down even as a fresh spawn I think, or at least at like 10%. It does put you more in the open during the journey, but it's more of a straight shot and you get there with more health left in case there are other gators there. Also, always have night vision on when underwater even during the day. It increases your underwater vision range so you can spot other deinos farther off. Or, if they don't have it on see them before they see you so you can either run or get the jump on them. (Though from what I've noticed this has little to no effect when you're a juvie, but it DEFINITELY helps when you get bigger.) Edit: seeing you used nv to spot the croc at the end of the vid! Still gonna leave the second half of comment tho for other peeps to see in case it helps them.

the developers need to make sure the map has no 100% safe drinking spots in my opinion, some of them should be detached but reachable by crocs. I've seen so many players going so far out of their way to drink from a safe spot which denies the crocs the opportunity to actually play the game.
I'm not super sure but I think when you bite fish it "stuns" them in the direction they're swimming, something about their animation being locked in going directly away from you until they hit something and they end up either going out of the water and dying or going up whenever they hit an object - i think to make them bounce off the riverbed ? not too sure how they work, but, hopefully they get a tiny little ai one day that makes them tricky lol
You should come and play on Islander, it's a semi-realism server that's pretty fun, definitely one of the best servers I've played on so far with a decent community and decent admins

Your on the old version of the game. Go into steam, right click the isle and go into properties, select betas and change beta participation to "Evrima Public Branch"

i find drowning players is just cringe, (i'm a deino main) which is why i now only hunt other deino's, its a good hunt for myself and the other player n i get to cleanse the server.

This is why, I only hunt other deino's or take my fights on land. took on 4 cera's tday at south river, only 1 got away lol. (on land!) twas a good fight.
@@Even6 yea. Nvidia is clearer underwater than AMD. Mine's Rx5700xt and even during day with no storm, underwater is really dark especially at lakes where it's very deep. I don't know about other AMD's though, you have to get more info about it but so far this is my experience with my gpu. The good side of AMD GPU is the color texture is richer than Nvidia, so if you like just appreciating the view and graphics then I'd go for AMD GPU's.
@@Even6 I can say this because as what I've seen from other streamer that uses NVIDIA and play as deinosuchus, the water is very clear. FYI my graphic setting is set at quality and ive even activated the AMD resolution thing which enhances the fps but still no luck underwater.
once again I ran incessantly for almost 1 hour for half a map looking for a bot.. nothing to do.. server full 180/180 no bots.. no living beings.. zero fauna.. only trees and grass.. huge areas completely empty.. years have passed since the release of evrima and nothing has changed.. a total waste of time playing it and maybe waiting for some improvement that will never come from the developers.. game with infinite bugs.. let's face it only the textures are beautiful but it's an infinite waste of time... to think that it would be enough to add something to the carnivores to dig like the "galli" to not die of hunger... incredible that in 2024 a game is so damn boring and full of errors.. among other things years after its release.. absurd.. I don't understand how people still manage to play it.
They are currently still updating it, they stopped working on legacy and are focusing on evrima and the beta has had updated it’s actually not quite that bad but they still got lots to work on.
